Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Scores lone run in win
Marte went 2-for-3 with a solo home run during Sunday's 1-0 win over the Rockies.
Marte accounted for two of the seven combined hits in Sunday's game and provided the only run by taking Chase Dollander yard in the first inning. The long ball was Marte's sixth of the season, and his third in the last four games. During that four-game stretch, Marte is 6-for-16 (.375) with five RBI and six runs scored.

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Steals base in win
Marte went 0-for-4 with a stolen base and run scored in Friday's 8-0 win over the Rockies.
Marte was in Friday's starting lineup after he was pulled from Wednesday's game with stiffness in his hip. Thursday's off day allowed for healing, and Marte showed the hip wasn't an issue by stealing his first base of the season.

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Back in Friday's lineup
Marte (hip) is starting at second base and batting in the leadoff spot against the Rockies on Friday.
Marte was lifted from Wednesday's win against the Giants due to stiffness in his hip, but the 31-year-old second baseman has been cleared to play in Friday's series opener. Marte is slashing .262/.377/.554 with five home runs and eight RBI over 77 plate appearances this season.

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Removed with lower-body stiffness
Marte was removed from Wednesday's 8-7 win over the Giants due to stiffness in his hip, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports. The removal was preventative, and both the player and manager Torey Lovullo expect Marte to be in the lineup Friday following Thursday's off-day.
Marte moved around the bases pretty easily on a pair of home runs early in the game but was eventually removed from the game in the seventh inning. This was the first time he played a day game following a night game since returning from a hamstring injury. He was replaced by Jordan Lawlar. Marte is still in a phase where his playing time is being managed, meaning there are planned days off.

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Goes yard twice in win
Marte went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in Wednesday's 8-7 win over the Giants.
After belting a solo shot off Jordan Hicks in the first inning, Marte tagged Hayden Birdsong for a two-run blast in the fourth as he bookended the scoring for the Diamondbacks. Marte has two multi-homer performances in the last seven games and five long balls in total over that stretch, but he's otherwise struggled to find his rhythm since coming off the IL at the beginning of the month, going 8-for-39 (.205) through 12 games in May.

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Heading to bench Sunday
Marte is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.
Marte started the first three games of the series versus Los Angeles and went 4-for-10 with a double and three home runs, but he'll take a seat for Sunday's finale. Tim Tawa will start at the keystone and bat eighth against righty Tony Gonsolin.

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: XBH in three straight games
Marte went 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Dodgers.
Marte's productive groundout in the third inning produced Arizona's first run, then he scored the team's final run after an eighth-inning double. He appears to have his timing down after going 2-for-16 in his first five outings after coming off the injured list. Marte has logged extra-base hits in three straight contests, going 4-for-10 with three home runs, one double, four RBI and five runs.

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Powers up with two homers
Marte went 2-for-3 with two solo home runs, two walks and three total runs scored in Friday's 14-11 loss to the Dodgers.
Marte went yard in the first and eighth innings. All three of his homers this season have come over the last two games, and it looks like he's starting to settle back in after missing a month to a hamstring injury. The second baseman is batting .292 with four RBI, 11 runs scored, three doubles and no stolen bases over 59 plate appearances. It wouldn't be surprising to see him run less given the hamstring concern, but he should continue to offer solid production in the other counting stats while occupying a near-everyday role.

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Goes yard Thursday
Marte went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Dodgers.
Marte hit his first homer of the season, stretching Arizona's lead to 5-0 in the fifth inning. The second baseman missed nearly a month due to a hamstring issue, so he's likely still working on his timing at the plate. Through 14 contests this year, he's batting .267 with a .789 OPS, two RBI, eight runs scored and no stolen bases over 54 plate appearances. Marte should handle a starting role most of the time, but Tim Tawa has gotten some extra looks at the keystone while Marte gets regular rest to avoid aggravating his hamstring, which has been a recurring concern in his career.

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Receiving rest Wednesday
Marte is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mets.
Tim Tawa will draw the start at second base Wednesday while Marte gets some rest for the day game after a night game. Since making his return from the injured list Friday after missing nearly a month due to a strained left hamstring, Marte has started in four of the Diamondbacks' ensuing six games and has gone 2-for-15 with two walks and a run.

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Getting rest Sunday
Marte is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.
Marte returned from the injured list Friday and started at second base the past two days, going 1-for-7 with a walk. The 31-year-old hasn't reported any setbacks following his one-month stay on the IL due to a hamstring strain, so his absence Sunday is most likely a pre-planned rest day. Tim Tawa will draw the start at second base in his stead.

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Returns to action
Marte went 1-for-4 in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Phillies.
Marte was activated off the 10-day injured earlier in the day and was in the lineup at second base and leading off against a left-hander. The initial plan for Marte, who is coming off a hamstring injury, is to see time in the field and at designated hitter, but at either spot he should bat first or second in the order.

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Back from 10-day injured list
The Diamondbacks activated Marte (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Friday.
Marte will skip a rehab assignment and go directly back onto the active roster after missing nearly a month of action with a strained left hamstring. The 31-year-old had slashed .346/.469/.462 in his first eight contests before getting hurt.
