Matt Kemp

Matt Kemp's re-injured left hamstring has forced him back to the disabled list, the team has announced.

Kemp aggravated the injury while running the bases on Wednesday night, and now the Dodgers are once again without their best player. Ramona Shelburne tweets that Dodgers trainer Sue Falsone puts Kemp's timetable at a minimum of four weeks. Kemp (again) becomes the 10th Dodger on the disabled list.

The Dodgers have replaced Kemp on the active roster with infield prospect Alex Castellanos, whom they received from St. Louis last season as part of the Rafael Furcal trade. For the time being, Tony Gwynn Jr. and Elian Herrera should share time in center, while Castellanos figures to get an extended look at second base.
