Saints' Keenan Lewis: Held out of practice Thursday

Lewis (hip) did not practice Thursday, ESPN.com reports.

Lewis had been sidelined until Wednesday while residing on the Saints' PUP list, but did not suffer any setbacks as his absence on Thursday was a scheduled day off, according to head coach Sean Payton. For now, expect the Saints to continue taking a cautious approach in bringing Lewis back from hip surgery.
