Jackson provided 28 points (12-19 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, five blocks, one assist and one steal in 38 minutes during Sunday's 112-100 victory over Indiana.
After a recent lull in the blocks column (three in his past three games), Jackson bounced back with a crooked number in the category Sunday and also finished with his second-best scoring total of January. Despite his late start to the season while he recovered from right foot surgery, Jackson has been playing at a career-best level since debuting in mid-November. He's missed only two games since debuting and is averaging 16.5 points, 6.7 boards, 1.6 treys, 1.0 steals and 0.9 assists to go along with a career-best 3.2 rejections per game, which would put him ahead of the Nets' Nic Claxton (2.7 per game) if Jackson had played enough minutes to qualify for the league lead.
