The UTSA Roadrunners got themselves on the board against the Lamar Cardinals on Saturday, but Lamar never followed suit. UTSA claimed a resounding 54 to nothing win over the Cardinals at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34 to nothing.
UTSA's victory brought them up to 2-0. The loss dropped Lamar back to even at 1-1.
UTSA will be hunkering down at home again for their matchup against the Middle Tenn. Blue Raiders at 6 p.m. ET Sept. 18 at Alamodome. Middle Tenn. took a loss in their last contest and are no doubt out to reverse UTSA's good fortune. The Cardinals will hit the road for the second straight week as they head to Nottingham Field at 4 p.m. ET next Saturday.
