The Florida State Seminoles were the 41-24 winners over the Jacksonville State Gamecocks when they previously met last October. On Saturday? They had no such luck. It was close but no cigar for the Seminoles as they fell 20-17 to Jacksonville State. That's two games in a row now that FSU have lost by three points.
FSU's loss pushed them down to 0-2. The win got Jacksonville State back to even at 1-1.
FSU will take on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons at 3:30 p.m. ET next Saturday at Truist Field. The Gamecocks will take on the North Alabama Lions at 7 p.m. ET next Saturday at home. Unlike Jacksonville State, North Alabama will be limping in after taking a loss.
