Thanks to a last-second 3-pointer from Syracuse guard John Gillon, Duke’s winning streak ended at seven games.

Things likely won’t get easier from here.

Saturday, the Blue Devils hit the road again to face the Miami Hurricanes, another team hungry to bolster its résumé for March ... and another team with its sights set on knocking off the red-hot Blue Devils.

Here’s how you can watch the game on TV or streaming online, along with a scouting report and a pick against the spread.

Scouting report

All season it has been Luke Kennard leading the Blue Devils. He has been key to Duke’s late-season resurgence, averaging 21.4 points over the past five games. Beyond him, however, it has been a revolving door as the second option on offense.

Until lately, that is.

Jayson Tatum has stepped, averaging 18.8 points over the past five including a monster 28-point game in a victory at Virginia. Tatum has the ability to step out beyond the 3-point line, play above the rim and bully his way into the paint.

For Miami, it has been a more balanced attack with three players averaging double figures in scoring -- all in the back court. But against Duke, it might be the athletic front court that makes the difference. Duke has struggled in defending down low all season, and the Hurricanes boast two players who have the ability to cause a mismatch down low in Kamari Murphy and Ebuka Izundu. With their rebounding and shot-blocking ability, they will be featured in the offensive attack to try and take down Duke by going right at Amile Jefferson and Tatum down low.

Matchups to watch

Jonathan Isaac, Ben Lammers, Anas Mahmoud -- dominant big men who have given Duke fits in the post this season. All three might be NBA talents in the not-too-distant future. But it’s a concern Duke will need to focus on against Miami, and I think down low defending Murphy will be the matchup to watch. He is a 6-foot-8 big man averaging just seven points, but he’s a ball vacuum around the rim, averaging 7.7 rebounds. Will Duke shade a taller defender like Jefferson his way? Or will it opt to go smaller, more athletic by putting Tatum on him? Tatum doesn’t give up any size and he has had success guarding the power forward position.

Odds and pick

SportsLine odds: Duke -2.5

SportsLine projection: Duke 69, Miami 68

Pick: Duke -2.5

If not for Gillon’s heroics, Duke could easily be on an eight-game winning streak rolling into this game. I think Miami, which took an emotional win over Virginia on Monday, falls just short and Tatum continues his hot streak. I like Duke 81-74.
