What to know about each team

North Carolina

Like with Ty Lawson in 2009, the Tar Heels are charging ahead in the NCAA Tournament with title hopes and a hobbled point guard. Joel Berry, who has an ankle injury, landed awkwardly in the first-round vs. Texas Southern, but checked back into the game and will likely continue to play. Justin Jackson has snapped his recent shooting slump and UNC’s front line dominated, a good sign with Moses Kingsley waiting in the next round.

Arkansas

The Hogs have an uber-efficient offense that they rely on and shot more than 47 percent in the first round vs. Seton Hall. They aren’t a team that typically relies on the deep ball this season, but that’s an area they will need to likely go to in their gameplan against No. 1 seed North Carolina on Sunday.
