Troy (18-9, 11-3 Sun Belt) shot 51.6 percent from the field after having a season high-tying six-game winning steak come to an end Thursday with an 82-71 defeat to Arkansas State.

The Trojans are tied with James Madison for second place in the Sun Belt, one game behind leader Appalachian State.

Reserve Makai Willis was the only Louisiana-Monroe (10-15, 5-9) player to reach double figures with 10 points as the Warhawks shot 32.3 percent and failed to extend their win streak to a season-best four games.
