Cooley notched an assist and blocked two shots in Saturday's 2-0 win over the Golden Knights. Cooley snapped a three-game point drought when he forced a turnover behind the net and set up Clayton Keller for the first goal of the contest. While Travis Boyd got the first chance to fill the vacancy on the top line created by Barrett Hayton's (upper body) absence, Cooley has been between Keller and Nick Schmaltz for much of the last week. Cooley is at two goals, 11 helpers, 31 shots on net and a minus-5 rating through 20 appearances to begin his rookie year.... See More ... See Less

Coyotes' Logan Cooley: Scores second goal
Cooley scored a power-play goal on four shots and added two PIM in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Blue Jackets. The goal was Cooley's second of the season and his first in the last seven games. The 19-year-old center continues to be dynamic on the power play, where he's earned nine of his 12 points this season. He's added 27 shots on net, six PIM and a minus-1 rating through 16 appearances in a middle-six role, though he could be bumped up in the lineup with Barrett Hayton (upper body) likely to miss time.... Coyotes' Logan Cooley: Posts three assists in win
Cooley recorded three assists and four shots in the Coyotes' 7-5 win over the Predators on Saturday. Cooley picked up helpers on goals by Sean Durzi, Clayton Keller and Michael Carcone. This snaps a three-game pointless streak for Cooley, as the rookie forward looks to get back on track offensively. The American forward has 11 points in 14 games to open his young career. He should continue to play on the third line and first power-play unit moving forward.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Logan Cooley: Snags power-play helper
Cooley registered a power-play assist in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Canadiens. Cooley has a goal and two helpers during his three-game point streak. The 19-year-old's high-end playmaking ability has been on display with a goal and seven assists through 10 contests so far. It's been especially valuable on the power play, where he's earned six of his helpers while elevating the Coyotes' man-advantage group to a 23.8 percent conversion rate -- they were at an 18.9 percent mark last season. Barring a slump, it looks like Cooley is here to stay in the NHL.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Logan Cooley: Nets first NHL goal
Cooley scored a goal in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Ducks. Cooley tied the game at 2-2 with his first-period tally, which was his first goal at the NHL level. The 19-year-old center has three points over his last four games. He's up to seven points, nine shots on net and a plus-3 rating over nine contests. Cooley isn't shooting much yet, but he's produced five power-play assists.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Logan Cooley: Produces helper
Cooley logged an assist and went plus-3 in Monday's 8-1 win over the Blackhawks. Cooley helped out on the first of three goals from Michael Carcone in this contest. After beginning the season on the second line, Cooley was dropped to the third line Monday. He's still searching for his first NHL goal, but he's managed six helpers (five on the power play) with eight shots on net, seven blocked shots and a plus-3 rating through eight contests.... Coyotes' Logan Cooley: Earns power-play assist
Cooley notched a power-play assist in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Kings. Cooley continues to be an effective playmaker with the man advantage -- all five of his assists this season have come on the power play. He's added five shots on net, five blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating, but he's yet to score a goal of any kind or earn an even-strength point. It's a good sign his offensive instincts are showing up early in his career, but he still has work to do to become more well-rounded.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Logan Cooley: Helps out on power play
Cooley recorded a power-play assist and two shots on goal in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Blues. Cooley is still searching for his first goal, but his playmaking has been on display with four helpers in as many contests. The rookie center has added five shots on net, four blocked shots and two PIM while working on the center line. All of his assists have come with the man advantage, helping the Coyotes to rank third in the league with a 31.6 percent conversion rate on the power play so far.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Logan Cooley: Snags assist
Cooley recorded a power-play assist in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Rangers. Cooley is up to three helpers through two contests, though all of his production has come with the man advantage so far. The 19-year-old center has added three shots on goal and two PIM while centering the second line. Cooley will likely continue to be involved on offense if he remains on the first power-play unit, but he'll need to get his even-strength play going to sustain his early pace.... See More ...
