Chris Brown: Will play in Germany
Brown signed a one-year deal with DEL Iserlohn on Wednesday.
Brown has appeared in 23 NHL games, the most recent of which occurred during the 2015-16 season with the Capitals. The former second-round pick will head overseas after spending all last year with AHL Hartford, where he tallied 14 goals and 13 helpers, but also a concerning minus-18 rating. Unless he can improve his two-way play, the 26-year-old is unlikely to get another shot in the NHL.

Rangers' Chris Brown: Headed to New York
Brown was traded to the Rangers on Sunday in exchange for Ryan Bourque.
The 25-year-old winger has just 20 games under his belt with AHL Hershey this season, tallying three goals and six assists over that period, but had an assist in each of his last four contests. After clearing waivers, Brown was promptly sent down to the minors. The 24-year old played just one game for the Caps this season, recording a single shot on goal. Barring any future injuries, Brown will likely find himself in Hershey for a while due to Washington's forward depth.

Brown was placed on waivers Friday, Isabelle Khurshudyan of The Washington Post reports.
The 24-year-old center only played one game this season after missing the first few weeks of the season recovering from a hand injury sustained during training camp, recording one shot on goal in 7:41 of ice time. Unless claimed by another team, he will report to AHL Hershey where he had 17 goals and 28 points in 64 games last season.
