Rams cut two rookie draftees

The Rams have cut rookie quarterback and sixth-round pick Garrett Gilbert, as well as tackle Mitchell Van Dyk, who was selected in the following round.

Gilbert proved unimpressive in exhibition play, completing just 16 of 33 passes for 158 yards and no touchdowns.
