Otis Hudson and DE Derrick Harvey. The two came to pushing and shoving during a full-contact red zone session, but when peacemakers stepped between the 330-pound Hudson made a leaping haymaker attempt over the top.

The wild punch didn't land and all parties walked away unscathed.

Mike Nugent made his first practice appearance of camp, officially removing himself from the active PUP. That only leaves DT Pat Sims and CB Dre Kirkpatrick on the list.

Brandon Tate missed the previous three practices with a hamstring injury but was back in action Thursday. His return was needed as a heated WR battle took place without him.

Down goes Marvin: The most comical moment of camp came Thursday when Marvin Lewis attempted to show LB help during a receiver drill. The newly extended coach broke toward WR Taevon Rogers and eventually made more contact than expected, stumbled and awkwardly fell on his back side.

As he rose, a loud cheer rung out at the first practice inside Paul Brown Stadium.

Fans flock to stadium:Bengals estimated just shy of 3,000 showed up Thursday night at Paul Brown.

Ghee nurses hand: Brandon Ghee, who suffered untimely injuries throughout his two-year career proclaimed the joy of finally being healthy and making an impact as camp opened. Thursday he left midway through practice gingerly holding his hand. No word on the extent of the injury except he was being checked by the trainers.
