  • Javonte Green: Let go by Golden State

  • Warriors' Javonte Green: Finds work in Golden State

Green agreed to a one-year contract with the Warriors on Monday, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports. Per Slater, Green is expected to open the 2023-24 campaign in the G League with Santa Cruz, so his contract is likely an Exhibit 10 deal. However, the 30-year-old forward has plenty of NBA experience and could see time with Golden State if the Warriors feel that he's an upgrade over veterans Dario Saric, Rodney McGruder and Rudy Gay for bench depth.

Green (knee) will play in Tuesday's game against the Hawks, Will Gottlieb of AllCHGO.com reports. Green was initially probable, so it's no surprise to see him available for Tuesday's tilt. • Bulls' Javonte Green: Available to play

Green (knee) will be available to play Sunday against the Grizzlies, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports. Green has been a negligible part of the rotation since returning from knee surgery, so while he'll be available for Sunday's game, it's unlikely he'll be on the floor enough to make an impact in fantasy hoops.

  • Bulls' Javonte Green: Sees first action since December

Green (knee) chipped in one rebound and one steal across nine minutes during Monday's 109-105 double-overtime victory over Philadelphia. Monday marked Green's return to action after a lengthy injury absence dating all the way back to Dec. 31, when he suffered a knee injury in a loss to the Cavaliers. In all, Green missed 34 consecutive games, but he looks like he'll have a chance to ramp up and reclaim a regular role off the bench over the final weeks of the regular season. Prior to the injury, Green was averaging 5.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, 0.8 steals, 0.8 assists and 0.7 blocks in 16.1 minutes per game over 28 appearances.
