  • Magic's Admiral Schofield: Good to go Friday

Schofield (illness) isn't on the injury report for Friday's game versus the Heat. Schofield will return to action Friday after missing the last two games with a non-COVID illness. However, the 26-year-old forward is unlikely to receive significant playing time.

  • Magic's Admiral Schofield: Out with illness

Schofield will not play in Tuesday's game against Minnesota due to illness. Schofield isn't typically in the rotation for Orlando, but he has made two brief appearances in January with so many injuries on the roster. His next chance to suit up will come Friday in Miami.

  • Magic's Admiral Schofield: Won't play against Brooklyn

Schofield is out for Tuesday's game versus the Nets due to a coach's decision. Schofield has played just three total minutes for Orlando this season, so his absence shouldn't impact the team's rotation. The two-way player will likely spend time with the Osceola Magic of the G League in 2023-24.

  • Admiral Schofield: Returning to Orlando

The Magic signed Schofield to a two-way contract Thursday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Schofield will return to Orlando for 2023-24 after spending the last two seasons with the Magic. He made 37 appearances last season and will split time between the G League and NBA this year.

  • Admiral Schofield: Leaving Orlando

The Magic declined Schofield's team option for 2023-24 on Thursday. Schofield will enter this summer as an unrestricted free agent after spending the last two seasons in Orlando. The 26-year-old forward averaged 4.2 points and 1.7 rebounds in 12.2 minutes across 37 games in 2022-23.

  • Magic's Admiral Schofield: Logs 25 minutes in season finale

Schofield racked up eight points (3-10 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, four assists and one steal across 25 minutes during Sunday's 123-110 loss to Miami. Schofield saw additional playing time as the season came to an end Sunday. The Magic did play their starters for the final game of the season, although their playing time was limited. Schofield was a non-factor throughout the season, and based on what we have seen from him to this point in his career, his outlook is not particularly bright.

  • Magic's Admiral Schofield: Cleared for action

Schofield (ankle) is available for Tuesday's game against the Cavaliers. Schofield has been upgraded from questionable to available and will play through a right ankle sprain. He's appeared in three of Orlando's past four games, totaling six points, four rebounds, an assist and a block in 22 minutes.

  • Magic's Admiral Schofield: Iffy for Tuesday's contest

Schofield is questionable for Tuesday's game against Cleveland due to a right ankle sprain. Schofield returned to action at the end of March following a lengthy absence due to a concussion and appeared in three of Orlando's past four contests, totaling six points, four rebounds, an assist and a block in 22 minutes. However, he appears to have picked up an ankle sprain recently and may be sidelined again. His potential availability would have a minimal impact on the Magic's rotation.

  • Magic's Admiral Schofield: Good to go against Utah

Schofield (concussion) is available for Thursday's game versus the Jazz. Schofield is set to return to the lineup after missing the previous game with a concussion. The 25-year-old forward is averaging 1.2 points and 0.6 assists in 6.4 minutes across his last five appearances.

  • Magic's Admiral Schofield: Expected to suit up Thursday

Schofield (concussion) is probable for Thursday's game versus the Jazz. Schofield should rejoin the lineup after missing the previous game with a concussion. However, the 25-year-old forward hasn't played double-digit minutes since Jan. 28, so he is unlikely to affect Orlando's rotation in a significant way.

  • Magic's Admiral Schofield: Won't play Tuesday

Schofield (concussion) has been ruled out for Tuesday's matchup against the Bucks. Schofield left Sunday's loss to Portland due to a concussion and will remain sidelined for at least one more contest. He's garnered a meager reserve role for Orlando since the All-Star break, so his absence shouldn't impact the Magic's rotation.

  • Magic's Admiral Schofield: Won't return Sunday

Schofield won't return to Sunday's game against the Trail Blazers due to a concussion. Schofield came off the bench Sunday and posted three points (1-1 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and one assist in eight minutes prior to sustaining a concussion in the first half. Whether he'll be available Tuesday against the Bucks remains to be seen.

  • Magic's Admiral Schofield: Gets upgraded to standard deal

The Magic converted Schofield's contract from a two-way deal to a standard two-year NBA contract Tuesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Schofield has seen little NBA action this season, appearing in 27 games and averaging 4.6 points and 1.9 rebounds. However, the organization seems to like what it's seen from the soon-to-be 26-year-old forward, who has played more total career minutes in the G League than in the NBA. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect much from Schofield unless multiple players ahead of him on the Magic depth chart miss time during the second half of the season.

  • Magic's Admiral Schofield: Tallies 17 points in G League

Schofield recorded 17 points (6-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and two assists across 21 minutes during Friday's 124-115 loss to the Salt Lake City Stars. With Jonathan Isaac back in the mix for Orlando, Schofield is likely to see most of his playing time for the rest of the season come as a part of the G League Magic. The 6-foot-5 forward served as team's top scorer off the bench Friday night versus the Stars, and he's now averaging 14.3 points and 3.3 boards per game across three appearances with Lakeland.

  • Magic's Admiral Schofield: Inactive Wednesday

Schofield (coach's decision) is inactive for Wednesday's game against the Pacers, Khobi Price of the Orlando Sentinel reports. After Jonathan Isaac returned to action Monday against Boston, Schofield will be a healthy scratch for a second consecutive game. Unless the Magic deal with injuries at some point, Schofield is unlikely to see much playing time.

  • Magic's Admiral Schofield: Will not play Monday

Schofield is listed as out due to coach's decision for Monday's game against Boston. Schofield was not listed on the injury report prior to being ruled out, and with the change coming right after Jonathan Isaac's (knee) activation, it likely means the team no longer needs Schofield for depth. Schofield struggled to find playing time with the Magic and will likely head down to the G League to see more run. However, if he ends up staying with Orlando, Schofield will have another chance to suit up Wednesday against Indiana.

  • Magic's Admiral Schofield: Gets one-game ban

Schofield has been suspended for Wednesday's game against the Thunder. Schofield was handed a one-game suspension by the NBA following an altercation earlier in the week, but he won't serve the suspension until Wednesday, as the league has staggered Orlando's suspensions to ensure it has enough available players Friday against Washington. Schofield could be in line for additional playing time Friday with Cole Anthony, Mo Bamba, Wendell Carter, R.J. Hampton, Gary Harris and Moritz Wagner all set to serve suspensions against the Wizards.

  • Magic's Admiral Schofield: Grabs season-high seven boards

Schofield finished with nine points (3-5 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds and one block in 13 minutes during Monday's 126-125 loss to the Hawks. Schofield continues to garner a solid reserve role in the absence of Wendell Carter (foot) and Chuma Okeke (knee). He put together his best two-game stretch of the season during Orlando's recent back-to-back, totaling 22 points, 11 rebounds, one steal and one block in 30 minutes. The third-year forward will look to continue his strong play against the Rockets on Wednesday.

  • Magic's Admiral Schofield: Leading scorer off bench in win

Schofield notched 13 points (5-7 FG, 3-5 3Pt), four rebounds and one steal in 17 minutes during Sunday's 95-92 win over the Celtics. Schofield led the Magic second unit in scoring, posting a season-high-tying point total while tallying a season-high mark from three. Schofield has surpassed double digits in scoring three times this season. This marked his highest point total since scoring 13 points Dec. 3 against Toronto.

  • Magic's Admiral Schofield: Drops season-high 13 points

Schofield notched 13 points (3-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT) and three assists across 20 minutes during Saturday's 121-108 loss to the Raptors. The Magic were blown off the court Saturday, allowing Schofield some additional playing time. He took full advantage, dropping a season-high 13 points including a perfect 6-of-6 from the line. The Magic continue to deal with multiple injuries which is at least affording Schofield a sporadic spot in the rotation. With that said, he is well outside the top 350 this season and warrants very little attention in fantasy.
