Blakeney put up 19 points (7-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, four assists and one steal in 36 minutes during Thursday's 114-102 G League loss to Memphis. Blakeney led the team in points, field-goal percentage and minutes on the evening. The only blight on his game was his five turnovers. The No. 3 pick in the G League draft could be ticketed for an NBA return sooner rather than later with more efforts like this.

  • Antonio Blakeney: Finds work in China

Blakeney agreed to a contract Monday with the Jiangsu Dragons of the Chinese Basketball Association, Emiliano Carchia of Sportando.com reports. The 22-year-old will take his talents overseas after appearing in 76 games for the Bulls over the past two seasons before he was cut by the team earlier this month. • Bulls' Antonio Blakeney: Cut by Bulls

Blakeney and the Bulls agreed to part ways on Saturday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Blakeney has thrived in the G-League during his time in the league, but was never able to find that same success when given a chance on the Bulls' roster. A streaky scorer, he will need to work on his efficiency in order to find another opportunity.

  • Bulls' Antonio Blakeney: Inefficient in Tuesday's loss

Blakeney had 11 points (5-15 FG, 1-2 3Pt), six rebounds, three assists, and one steal in 21 minutes during Tuesday's 112-103 loss to the Raptors. Blakeney finished with more field goal attempts than points. Still, he filled up the stat sheet, and with the Bulls beaten up by injuries, he may remain a pretty appealing option in leagues that primarily value counting stats across the final seven games of 2018-19.

  • Bulls' Antonio Blakeney: Scores 17 points in Sunday's loss

Blakeney contributed 17 points (8-13 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two rebounds, and one assist in 20 minutes during Sunday's 123-118 loss to the Hawks. Blakeney hadn't appeared in four of the last five games, and this was the first time since Jan. 11 that he reached double figures in scoring. The 22-year-old guard remains a microwave scoring option off the bench, but one that the Bulls rarely turn to on a consistent basis.

  • Bulls' Antonio Blakeney: Headed to Windy City

Blakeney was assigned to the Windy City Bulls of the G League on Tuesday. Blakeney has, for the most part, been out of the Bulls' rotation since mid-January, so a trip to the G League should give the second-year player ample opportunity to see extended minutes on the court.

  • Bulls' Antonio Blakeney: Plays three minutes in loss

Blakeney scored two points (1-1 FG) in three minutes during Wednesday's 121-101 loss to the Hawks. Blakeney has earned just three minutes in consecutive contests, this after being a healthy scratch during last Saturday's loss to the Heat. • Bulls' Antonio Blakeney: Steps up in blowout loss

Blakeney offered 12 points (4-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and one assist across 13 minutes in the Bulls' 146-109 loss to the Warriors on Friday. The LSU product continued to churn out solid production in a limited role, with Friday's scoring tally his fourth of the double-digit variety in the first five games of 2019. The second-year wing has impressive drained nine of his 17 attempts over the last pair of contests, and he's shooting 46.3 percent overall, including 42.9 percent from distance, thus far in January. While Zach LaVine will naturally continue gobbling up the majority of minutes at two-guard, Blakeney should enjoy a consistent role in the rotation as long as his current production persists.

  • Bulls' Antonio Blakeney: Empty 14 point line Wednesday

Blakeney had 14 points (6-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt), and one rebound in 24 minutes during Wednesday's 124-116 victory over the Suns. Blakeney finished with double-digit scoring for the third consecutive game, totaling 14 points in 24 minutes. Across that same stretch, however, he has recorded a combined six rebounds and two assists. He is purely a scorer and despite the consistent points totals, needs to be left alone in all standard formats.

  • Bulls' Antonio Blakeney: Scores team-high 13 points off bench

Blakeney posted 13 points (6-19 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds and an assist across 33 minutes in Saturday's 122-83 loss to the Raptors. The Bulls couldn't get anything going against the Raptors, but it wasn't a big surprise to see Blakeney do well with Zach LaVine (illness) out. Blakeney actually has the second-highest usage on the team next to LaVine, which is especially intriguing when you consider that he isn't an everyday starter. Blakeney is worth a look if you have a pressing need at the guard position.
