  • Hornets' Terry Rozier: Will not play Tuesday

Rozier (foot) has been ruled out of Tuesday's game against Oklahoma City. This will be the third straight absence for Rozier, who is said to be battling soreness in his right foot. With the Hornets well out of playoff contention and essentially locked into the fourth-best lottery odds, it's very possible -- if not likely -- that the team will continue to take it easy with several veterans, including Rozier, down the stretch.

  • Hornets' Terry Rozier: Ruled out Sunday

Rozier (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Mavericks. Rozier had been listed as doubtful heading into the day, so it comes as little surprise that he'll wind up missing his second straight contest. Dennis Smith played 30 minutes as the Hornets' starting point guard in Friday's win over Dallas and is expected to replace Rozier on the top unit once again in the rematch with the Mavericks.

  • Hornets' Terry Rozier: Unlikely to play Sunday

Rozier (foot) is doubtful for Sunday's matchup against the Mavericks, Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer reports. Rozier is expected to be out for a second consecutive game Sunday. That could lead to another start for Dennis Smith, while Theo Maledon and Bryce McGowens could see extra action as well.

  • Hornets' Terry Rozier: Officially out Friday

Rozier (foot) has been ruled out for Friday's game against Dallas. No surprises here, as Rozier was carrying a doubtful tag prior to this update. His next chance to play will be a rematch against Dallas on March 26. Dennis Smith Jr. will get the start in Rozier's absence, and Svi Mykhailiuk will look to build on his momentum after scoring 15 points versus the Pelicans on Thursday.

  • Hornets' Terry Rozier: Doubtful Friday

Rozier (foot) is doubtful for Friday's game against Dallas. Rozier exited Thursday's game against the Pelicans due to right foot discomfort and will likely be forced to miss the second half of the back-to-back set. Dennis Smith (illness) is probable, and he'll likely see increased run against the Mavericks, while Theo Maledon and James Bouknight could also see some minutes.

  • Hornets' Terry Rozier: Unlikely to return

Rozier left Thursday's game against the Pelicans with discomfort in his right foot and is doubtful to return. Rozier left the game in the second quarter with five points, four rebounds and two assists in 10 minutes and is unlikely to return. If he doesn't come back, Dennis Smith will take over lead point guard duties while Bryce McGowens could see more run.

  • Hornets' Terry Rozier: Perfect at free-throw line in win

Rozier finished Monday's 115-109 win over the Pacers with 23 points (7-19 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 7-7 FT), nine assists, two steals and one rebound in 37 minutes. Rozier had attempted just five free throws over his previous four contests, but he made a more concerted effort to get to the line Monday and cashed in on those opportunities. The perfect showing from the free-throw line helped make up for another inefficient outing from the field, something that fantasy managers have already come to expect from Rozier. Since he's converting at a 41.5 percent rate from the field for the season on a whopping 19.1 attempts per game, Rozier retains far more value in point leagues, where his poor percentage isn't taken into account. With LaMelo Ball (ankle) out of the lineup for the past three weeks, Rozier has been a top-50 performer in points leagues during that stretch.

  • Hornets' Terry Rozier: Just misses double-double Tuesday

Rozier racked up 22 points (10-20 FG, 2-7 3Pt), three rebounds and nine assists over 35 minutes during Tuesday's 120-104 loss to the Cavaliers. It was another strong performance from the veteran point guard, who's scored more than 20 points in five straight games, Rozier did just miss his first double-double since late October, but that's a minor quibble -- over his last nine games, he's averaged 21.9 points, 6.3 assists, 4.3 boards, 2.7 threes and 1.2 steals. With LaMelo Ball (ankle) done for the season, Rozier seems locked into a starting role over the final weeks.

  • Hornets' Terry Rozier: Not bothered by calf Saturday

Rozier finished Saturday's 119-111 loss to the Jazz with 22 points (10-23 FG, 2-8 3Pt), eight assists, six rebounds, two steals and one block in 34 minutes. Listed as probable heading into the day with a calf injury, Rozier suited up and didn't face any limitations from a minutes or performance standpoint. He's now cleared the 20-point mark in six of the last seven games while averaging 6.0 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 2.6 triples, but his production has proven much more useful in points leagues due to his poor efficiency. Rozier is shooting just 41.6 percent from the field (on 19.6 attempts per game) and 66.7 percent from the free-throw line (on 3.4 attempts) over that seven-game stretch.

  • Hornets' Terry Rozier: Available to play

Rozier (calf) is available Saturday against the Jazz. Rozier was previously considered probable, so it appears to be a minor injury. Rozier has been putting up some solid fantasy numbers lately, scoring at least 20 points in five of his last six games.

  • Hornets' Terry Rozier: Added to injury report

Rozier is probable for Saturday's game against the Jazz with a right calf contusion. Rozier was a late addition to the injury report Saturday morning after being handed a probable tag for the matchup. Considering Saturday's tilt is the opening leg of a back-to-back set and Rozier has missed just one game since Dec. 21, fantasy managers should keep an eye on him as a potential rest candidate, though the current probable tag suggests he's in line to play.

  • Hornets' Terry Rozier: Top distributor in strong showing

Rozier closed Thursday's 113-103 win over the Pistons with 21 points (9-22 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 2-5 FT), six rebounds, nine assists, two blocks and two steals across 35 minutes. Rozier led the team in assists while finishing one assist shy of a double-double and four rebounds short of a triple-double in a 21-point performance. Rozier has recorded at least 20 points, five assists and five rebounds on 11 occasions this season, including in two straight outings.

  • Hornets' Terry Rozier: Pops for 25 in win

Rozier registered 25 points (10-22 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds and seven assists over 38 minutes during Tuesday's 112-105 victory over the Knicks. The seven assists were his most since Jan. 29, but Rozier will likely continue to put up increased distribution numbers with LaMelo Ball (ankle) done for the year. Rozier has also scored 20 or more points in four of the last five games, averaging 21.0 points, 5.0 assists, 4.0 boards and 3.0 threes over that stretch.

  • Hornets' Terry Rozier: Poor shooting continues

Rozier had 16 points (5-17 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds and four assists in 37 minutes during Sunday's 102-86 loss to the Nets. Rozier shot just 5-of-17 from the field Sunday, continuing a trend that managers will be hoping comes to an end soon. With the Hornets going nowhere fast, Rozier should be in a position to hoist as many shots as he wants down the stretch. Unfortunately, that could also mean he delivers a huge blow to your field goal percentage. Anyone rostering Rozier will at least be hoping he can offset his flaws by upping his production in both assists and steals with LaMelo Ball (ankle) done for the year.

  • Hornets' Terry Rozier: Hits for 22 in Monday's win

Rozier closed Monday's 117-106 win over Detroit with 22 points (9-19 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one steal across 38 minutes. After a couple rough shooting nights coming out of the All-Star break, Rozier looked a little more comfortable Monday. He's scored more than 20 points in six of 10 games in February, averaging 20.2 points, 3.7 boards, 3.6 assists, 2.4 threes and 1.7 steals on the month. He should be counted on for heavy production the rest of the way with LaMelo Ball out for the season with a fractured ankle.

  • Hornets' Terry Rozier: Struggles in return

Rozier logged nine points (2-10 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds, five assists and two steals over 33 minutes during Friday's 121-113 victory over the Timberwolves. Rozier missed his last game before the All-Star break (hand) but returned to the starting lineup in Friday's win over Minnesota. The veteran guard struggled mightily from the field, including an 0-for-5 showing from beyond the arc, but he did provide some good assists and steals as well as solid free-throw volume. As long as he is back to full health, look for him to bounce back sooner rather than later.

  • Hornets' Terry Rozier: Good to go Friday

Rozier (hand) is available for Friday's matchup against the Timberwolves. As expected, Rozier will be available for the Hornets' first game out of the break after missing the final contest before the festivities. He's scored in double digits across 25 straight games (23.1 PPG) while adding 4.3 dimes, 4.1 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 35.2 minutes.

  • Hornets' Terry Rozier: Likely to play Friday

Rozier (hand) is probable for Friday's game against the Timberwolves. Rozier was unavailable for the Hornets' final game before the All-Star break due to a right hand sprain, but he'll likely be back in action when the team resumes play Friday. Over his last 10 appearances, he's averaged 23.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.7 steals in 35.2 minutes per game.

  • Hornets' Terry Rozier: Will not play vs. Spurs

Rozier (hand) is out for Wednesday's matchup against the Spurs. Rozier will sit out Charlotte's final game before the break, meaning his next chance to play arrives Feb. 24 at Minnesota. In Rozier's absence, Dennis Smith is expected to start, and Bryce McGowens should see more minutes as well.

  • Hornets' Terry Rozier: Downgraded to doubtful

Rozier is doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Spurs due to a right hand sprain. Rozier was a late addition to the injury report and will likely miss the Hornets' final game before the All-Star break, which would mark his first absence since Dec. 21. Bryce McGowens and Dennis Smith are candidates for increased roles if Rozier is indeed sidelined Wednesday.
