F Deshaun Thomas waived Wednesday by Spurs
Forward Deshaun Thomas was waived by the Spurs on Wednesday.
A second-round selection by the Spurs in 2013, Thomas spent the previous two seasons overseas before returning stateside to compete for a roster spot this summer. Thomas struggled to see the court in the preseason, however, and as a result, the Spurs will renounce their rights to the 24 year old out of Ohio State.
