  • Andrew Goudelock: Signs one-year pact with Israeli team

Goudelock signed a one-year contract Tuesday with Maccabi Tel Aviv B.C. of the Israeli Premier Basketball League, Sportando reports.

Following a two-year hiatus from playing in the NBA, Goudelock latched on with the Rockets in the second half of the 2015-16 campaign, appearing in eight games and averaging 2.8 points across 6.3 minutes per appearance. The 27-year-old was unable to parlay his stint with the team into a guaranteed contract for 2016-17, however, as the Rockets opted to waive him nearly a month ago. After gaining little traction with other NBA teams in free agency, Goudelock will opt for the greater financial security of heading overseas. If he fares well in Israel, he could be a candidate to return to the NBA in 2017-18.

  • Andrew Goudelock: Set to be released by Rockets

Goudelock will not have his contract guaranteed by the Rockets for the upcoming season, making him an unrestricted free agent, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Goudelock joined the Rockets in March on a two-year, partially guaranteed contract. His 2016-17 salary was set to be become fully guaranteed on Aug. 1, but the Rockets have decided against keeping him under their control. He ended up playing in just eight games, posting averages of 2.8 points, 0.3 rebounds and 0.5 assists over six minutes per outing. The 27-year-old guard will likely try and get a training camp invite by playing with a summer league team, but would appear unlikely to work his way in to a team's regular rotation. Goudelock did stints in Turkey and China prior to joining the Rockets this past season, so there's also a chance he moves back overseas for another year.

  • Rockets' Andrew Goudelock: Scores four points in Game 5 loss

Goudelock finished with four points (2-4 FG) and one rebound over five minutes in Wednesday's 114-81 Game 5 loss to the Warriors.

As anticipated, Goudelock didn't see much run in the first-round series, with his only two appearances coming in garbage time of blowout losses. With Goudelock's contract non-guaranteed for the 2016-17 season, the Rockets will have to decide in training camp if he's worth keeping on the 15-man roster as guard depth.

  • Rockets' Andrew Goudelock: Plays seven minutes in Wednesday's regular season finale

Goudelock had two points (1-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt), one assist, and one steal in seven minutes during the Rockets' 116-81 win against the Kings on Wednesday.

Goudelock appeared in all six games during April, but totaled just 29 minutes over that span. He is merely the third-string point guard behind Patrick Beverley and Jason Terry, and Goudelock is unlikely to receive much burn versus the Warriors in round one of the playoffs.
