Magic's Mario Hezonja released from European contract

Fifth overall draft pick Mario Hezonja has finalized a buyout with his European team--FC Barcelona, the Magic announced on Monday, per the Orlando Sentinel. 

The buyout frees the Croatian swing man to play for the Magic. He's expected to make his debut in summer league. 

"We look forward to Mario’s arrival in Orlando in the coming days," Magic GM Rob Hennigan said. "We would like to thank Mario, Arn Tellem (his agent) and FC Barcelona for their cooperation and diligence."
