In what has been a difficult season for the Philadelphia 76ers and their fans, those hoping to see some development and play out of second year big man Arnett Moultrie will not get their wish any time soon. The NBA has suspended Moultrie for five games without pay for violating the terms of the NBA's Anti-Drug Program.

A five-game suspension comes with a third positive testing for marijuana, after no punishment for a first violation and a $25,000 fine for a second. It has not been revealed what his violation of the drug program is.

Moultrie's suspension will begin Monday night against the Atlanta Hawks and is ineligible to play in the D-League during this suspension. He's appeared in 12 games for the Sixers this season, averaging 3.0 points and 2.9 rebounds in 15.6 minutes.
