  • Dodgers' Andy Pages: Homers again Saturday

Pages went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run in Saturday's 11-9 loss to the Angels. Pages is sizzling at the plate lately, and that's included a recent burst of power. He's homered three times over his last four games, and he's batting .281 (18-for-64) over 15 contests in May. Overall, the outfielder is enjoying a breakout in his second major-league season, batting .288 with an .847 OPS, nine homers, 27 RBI, 23 runs scored and five stolen bases over 43 games. Pages has filled in for Teoscar Hernandez (groin) in right field lately, but given his recent strong play, manager Dave Roberts will likely find a spot for Pages on a near-everyday basis even once Hernandez returns from the injured list.

  • Dodgers' Andy Pages: Remains hot with another homer

Pages went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run in Thursday's 19-2 rout of the Athletics. The Dodgers' offense put on a show in the blowout victory, and Pages was in the middle of it, going yard to cap a seven-run third inning. That gave Los Angeles a 13-2 lead, and Pages was one of three regulars pulled before the top of the next frame in order to get some extra rest. The long ball was his second in as many games and continued a hot 10-game stretch at the plate during which the outfielder is slashing .349/.364/.581 with the two homers, 10 RBI, seven runs and two stolen bases.

  • Dodgers' Andy Pages: Clubs seventh homer

Pages went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 9-3 victory over the A's. Pages went 0-for-4 in Tuesday's series opener to snap an eight-game hit streak, but he got back on track Wednesday with his seventh homer and fifth three-hit effort of the campaign. The 24-year-old began the season with a .544 OPS in his first 20 contests, but in his past 20 games he's batting .388 (33-for-85) with 11 extra-base hits, five stolen bases, 16 RBI and 15 runs scored.

  • Dodgers' Andy Pages: Hitting streak up to eight games

Pages went 2-for-5 with one RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's 8-1 win over the Diamondbacks. Pages extended his hitting streak to eight games, a span in which he's gone 12-for-36 (.333) with six RBI and two steals. The outfielder is handling a full-time role in right field currently, covering for the injured Teoscar Hernandez (groin). Pages started the year slowly but is up to a .286/.342/.471 slash line with six homers, five steals, 20 RBI, 20 runs scored, six doubles and a triple through 38 contests this season. He's logged multiple hits in nine of his last 18 games while going hitless just twice in that span.

  • Dodgers' Andy Pages: Continues to swing hot bat

Pages went 2-for-5 with a double, two runs and three RBI in a 14-11 win over Arizona on Friday. Pages had a couple of big hits in the contest -- in the third inning, he stroked a two-run single to break a 3-3 tie, and in the ninth he notched an RBI double to contribute to a big Dodgers comeback in the final frame. There was a time earlier this season when the second-year outfielder was struggling and in danger of seeing less playing time, but Pages has turned things around with a red-hot stretch at the plate. Over his last 20 games, he's slashing .375/.405/.613 with four home runs, five doubles, one triple, 15 runs, 17 RBI and three stolen bases.

  • Dodgers' Andy Pages: Drives in four runs

Pages went 4-for-5 with a home run and four RBI in Sunday's win over Pittsburgh. Pages knocked an RBI single during the Dodgers' four-run first inning before belting a two-run shot in the fifth. He capped off his day with another RBI base hit in the sixth. Pages was a nightmare for Pittsburgh's pitching staff this weekend, going 10-for-12 with four extra-base hits in the three-game set. The hot streak boosted his season OPS from .650 to .861 through 93 plate appearances.

  • Dodgers' Andy Pages: Not starting Sunday

Pages is not in the Dodgers' starting lineup against the Cubs on Sunday, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports. Pages went 0-for-6 with three strikeouts over the first two games of the series. He'll begin Sunday's contest in the dugout while Tommy Edman shifts to center field and Miguel Rojas starts at second base.

  • Dodgers' Andy Pages: Launches first long ball

Pages went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Tuesday's loss to the Nationals. Pages was the only Dodgers player with multiple hits in the defeat, and he accounted for one of the team's two runs with a solo blast in the fifth inning. It's been a rough start to the campaign for the young outfielder -- even after Tuesday's performance, Pages is slashing a paltry .162/.311/.270. He's also had his share of defensive struggles in the outfield, but Los Angeles has mostly stuck with Pages, as he's appeared in 12 of the team's 13 games so far.

  • Dodgers' Andy Pages: Candidate to start in CF

Pages may begin the season as the Dodgers' starting center fielder following Hyeseong Kim's option to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday. Pages hasn't had an outstanding spring, slashing just .214/.313/.321 with four RBI and three runs scored across 32 plate appearances. However, the demotion of Kim to Triple-A could force Tommy Edman to move to second base, which would leave Pages as the best remaining option to cover center field. Another possibility would be allowing Miguel Rojas to take over as the Dodgers' primary second baseman while Edman remains in the outfield and Pages on the bench, though manager Dave Roberts hasn't tipped his hand as to his preferred alignment.

  • Dodgers' Andy Pages: Another start in center field

Pages will start in center field and bat ninth Friday in Game 5 of the NLCS against the Mets, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports. Pages is netting his second start in as many days as the Mets turn to a lefty (David Peterson) for the second day in a row. He went 0-for-4 with one strikeout in the Dodgers' Game 4 victory.

  • Dodgers' Andy Pages: Starting in center

Pages is in the lineup as the center fielder and is batting ninth Thursday against the Padres. Pages was sent to center field off the bench in Wednesday night's game after Miguel Rojas was removed following the fourth inning due to a thigh injury. Tommy Edman started in center field, but moved to shortstop with Pages entering the game. With Rojas not expected to return until Sunday, expect Pages to find increased playing time in the final few games of the season.

  • Dodgers' Andy Pages: Call-up on tap

The Dodgers are expected to recall Pages from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday, Francys Romero of BeisbolFR.com reports. Pages was optioned to Oklahoma City on Aug. 19 after spending four months with the Dodgers. In the majors this season, he has slashed .246/.305/.388 with nine home runs and 36 RBI across 394 plate appearances. During his upcoming stint with the Dodgers, Pages is unlikely to serve as much more than a short-side platoon player or fourth outfielder.

  • Dodgers' Andy Pages: Reaches base four times Sunday

Pages went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two walks and a run in Sunday's 6-5 extra-inning win over Pittsburgh. Pages appears to be perking up at the plate again, slashing .389/.522/.611 with four doubles over his past six games. Prior to that, he endured an ice-cold nine-game stretch during which he went 3-for-31with 10 strikeouts. It's no surprise that the rookie has had his share of ups and downs, but Pages has maintained a semi-regular spot in the Dodgers' lineup, starting four of the past six games. However, his playing time could be impacted by Mookie Betts' expected return from a hand injury Monday, as Betts is slated to move back to right field after logging most of his time in the infield prior to his injury.

  • Dodgers' Andy Pages: Racks up three hits

Pages went 3-for-4 with two runs scored in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Rockies. Pages is starting to get things figured out in the majors with three multi-hit efforts over his last four games. That surge has gotten the rookie outfielder back up to a .257 batting average, though his .685 OPS on the year remains middling. He's added five home runs, 17 RBI, 24 runs scored and a stolen base over 40 contests. Pages continues to see a starting role in center field.

Pages isn't in the Dodgers' lineup for Saturday's game against the Reds. He'll get a day to regroup Saturday while Chris Taylor makes his first start of the year in center field, batting ninth.

  • Dodgers' Andy Pages: Finds power in win

Pages went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Sunday's win over the Reds. Pages crushed a two-run shot off Hunter Greene in the fourth inning to give the Dodgers a 2-0 lead. Pages has now tallied a hit in each of his last four games after a 10-game stretch from May 5 to May 15 during which he hit just .114 with a 42.5 percent strikeout rate. Despite the mini slump, Pages survived a flurry of roster changes made by the Dodgers over the weekend and was hitting fifth in Sunday's win, showing the confidence manager Dave Roberts has in him. He's now slashing .265/.301/.451 with five homers, 16 RBI, 18 runs and a 4:34 BB:K in 123 plate appearances. His .752 OPS is third among NL rookies with at least 100 plate appearances this season.

  • Dodgers' Andy Pages: Day off Thursday

Pages isn't in the Dodgers' lineup for Thursday's game against the Reds. Pages has struck out six times in his last nine at-bats, so the Dodgers will give him a chance to regroup Thursday. Teoscar Hernandez will shift to right field as a result, allowing Chris Taylor to pick up a start in left while batting seventh.

  • Dodgers' Andy Pages: Notches first big-league steal

Pages went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Saturday's 5-0 win against the Padres. Pages withstood a Padres review challenge to pick up his first theft as a major-leaguer following an eighth-inning single. The 23-year-old hasn't been a big base-stealer as a pro, topping out at seven thefts in the minors, though he does have 83rd percentile sprint speed, per Statcast. Pages continues to see everyday playing time for the Dodgers, but he's tailed off a bit of late with a .158/.261/.158 slash line and 34.8 percent strikeout rate over his past six games.
