Todd Zolecki@ToddZolecki7H agoMarlins 7, Phillies 6 in 10 innings Zack Wheeler wasn't himself today, allowing six runs in four innings. Phillies tied the game in the sixth, but couldn't get the big hit late. A ball deflects off Gregory Soto's backside and into the outfield to score Miami's winning run.

Todd Zolecki@ToddZolecki7H agoIt appears Marlins pitcher Anthony Bender's warmup music is Sammy Hagar's "Heavy Metal." Haven't heard that at a ballpark since Jayson Werth played for the Phillies.

Todd Zolecki@ToddZolecki1D agoBryson Stott hit this absurdly inside 2-2 sinker for a bases-loaded triple in the 6th. @statcast said Phillies LHH have hit only three pitches further inside for base hits since it started tracking in 2015, and one was a bunt hit. https://t.co/CvFMJmTcls

Todd Zolecki@ToddZolecki1D agoPhillies 8, Marlins 3 The Phillies did not score until the 6th, when they broke open the game with Bryson Stott's bases-loaded triple. Stott had four RBIs. Cristian Pache had three hits. Taijuan Walker allowed one run in six innings. The Phillies (28-12) can sweep tomorrow.
