Mullins went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in Sunday's 5-0 win over the Royals.
Mullins was caught stealing after reaching on a fielder's choice in the second inning, but he tried again with success in the fourth. His 10-game hitting streak ended Saturday with an 0-for-1 effort off the bench, but he's still providing quality at-bats from the bottom half of the order. The center fielder is now slashing .269/.311/.522 with five home runs, four steals, 15 RBI, 15 runs scored and two doubles over 74 plate appearances this season.

Mullins has hit no higher than fifth in the order this season, but that's allowed him to be more involved in run production with his hot start to the campaign.

Mullins has hit safely in six straight games, including Saturday's effort off the bench. The center fielder remains in a starting role, but manager Brandon Hyde will have to get creative about how he balances playing time for four outfielders with Colton Cowser's torrid start to the season. To his credit, Mullins has defended his place in the lineup well, batting .261 with an .827 OPS, three homers, two stolen bases, 10 RBI and 11 runs scored over 15 contests.

This was Mullins' first multi-hit effort of the season. He's also logged both of his steals and four of his eight RBI over the last four contests. Mullins had started each of the first five games of the season, including two versus left-handers. He'll take a seat in this one, though, as the Royals send ace southpaw Cole Ragans to the hill. Jorge Mateo will occupy center field.

Mullins went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run Thursday against the Angels.
Mullins dropped to seventh in the lineup with lefty Patrick Sandoval starting on the mound, though it didn't hurt his production on Opening Day. The center fielder took Jose Cisnero deep in the seventh frame to tally his first homer of the season and to cap off an 11-run outburst for the Orioles. Mullins posted a .183 ISO across 116 games in 2023 and remains a strong power-speed threat.
