Dodgers' Erisbel Arruebarrena: Suspended for remainder of season
Arruebarrena was suspended for the remainder of the 2016 season due to repeated failures to comply with the terms in his contract, Eric Stephen of SB Nation reports.
This is the second such instance for Arruebarrena in the past year, although last time he was able to settle a grievance and return after missing only a month. We'll see if the shortstop can work his way out of this suspension, although this much trouble in addition to the missed game time doesn't bode well for his standing in the organization going forward.

If there's any good news, it's that three of Arruebarrena's eight hits have gone for home runs. Still, he's not making his way back to the big leagues any time soon.
