One look through the Associated Press Top 25 finds some very unlikely members this week. The South Florida Bulls are ranked No. 6, with Kentucky at No. 8 and Cincinnati at No. 20. These teams are well deserving of their rankings after some very big upsets during the early going. Illinois (No. 28), Connecticut (No. 34) and UCF (No. 38) are also knocking on the door, hoping to get their name in the poll.

What this means as we near a third of the way through the season is that it's time to start parting ways with the traditional powers you've come to love and start getting familiar with the little guys. If you're familiar with this column, you know that we always pull for the little guy. Some people are frontrunners and that's fine. But one of the biggest keys to Fantasy success in the past few years is finding that correct mix of star units from the big conferences and the standouts from what are labeled as the lesser conferences.

South Florida is no longer a surprise, as we've covered here before, as has CBSSports.com Senior Writer Dennis Dodd who was at that the 'Running of the Bulls' last Friday in the monumental upset against West Virginia. If you have not yet jumped all over that USF DST, there is no better time than the present with a road game at Florida Atlantic on Saturday. The Bulls D is owned is just 36 percent of CBSSports.com Fantasy leagues, but that number is steadily climbing.

We also mentioned Kentucky, which does not really fit the definition of 'little' guy, since they play in the SEC. However, they have long since been the redheaded stepchild of the conference, sort of like Duke in the ACC or Northwestern in the Big Ten. Anyway, you get the picture. The Wildcat RBs are on the move, picking up another eight percent of owners this week to put them at 64 percent. That still leaves a lot of Fantasy leagues out there with a chance to scoop them up for a schedule which still includes Mississippi State, Vanderbilt and a very giving Tennessee defense. However, LSU and Florida are also on the docket.

However, one team we are really starting to fall in love with for Fantasy purposes is the Troy Trojans DST. Like most Sun Belt Conference teams, they took, or are still taking, a beating in their non-conference schedule. However, the Trojans have looked right at home and very dominant in their past two conference games against Louisiana-Lafayette and Louisiana-Monroe. This week, the Trojans travel to Miami to face Florida International (0-5, 0-1), a team the Trojans should have their way with. Now that their brutal non-conference schedule is over with, the Trojans are ready to turn it on. If you look at their overall statistics, this doesn't look like a Fantasy-worthy team. But look forward, not back.

Five units to start in Week 5

Arizona TEs: Rob Gronkowski, the new big man on campus in Tucson, finally lived up to expectations against Washington State last Saturday. The blue-chip recruit posted four receptions for 115 yards and two touchdowns in the win. He is going to be one of the best tight ends in the nation before he is done with his college career. For now, Arizona's tight end is owned in just one percent of CBSSports.com leagues. Get in on the ground floor before people start taking notice.

Georgia RBs: This one is very, very hard to believe. The Bulldog RBs have managed 187.2 Fantasy points this season, which is good for eighth among all units in CBSSports.com leagues. However, they are owned in just 25 percent of Fantasy leagues, which is up 11 percent from a week ago. However, that number should be up around 75 percent, as they are a bona fide No. 1 option in all formats. They face a very giving Tennessee defense which had 59 dropped on them by the Florida Gators in mid-September.

Indiana QBs: It's time for the Indiana Hoosiers to take their swipes at the terrible Minnesota defense. Kellen Lewis posted 322 passing yards and three touchdowns against a very good Iowa team on the road. Now they face a Gophers defense which has allowed 36.8 points per game in five contests. Lewis also has one of the best receivers in the nation in James Hardy, who has 400 yards and seven touchdowns. Why not pick up a two-for-one this week for your Fantasy team, grabbing the QBs and WRs of IU, for what is sure to be an offensive explosion?

Kent State RBs: Quick. Without looking, who leads the nation in rushing yardage? Okay, we were going to tell you anyway. It's Eugene Jarvis, who stands all of 5-foot-5. He has managed 769 yards, which is eight better than Michigan's Mike Hart. UCF's Kevin Smith is third with 713 yards, Wisconsin's P.J. Hill has 667 yards and Arkansas' Darren McFadden has managed 657 yards. I bet you have heard of all of those other guys, but are just learning of Jarvis. He looks a lot like former Northern Illinois standout Garrett Wolfe and that's scary for Mid-American Conference opponents.

UCLA DST: Well, it's time to pick on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. They are absolutely atrocious, have shown very little signs of life and this week it is UCLA's turn to put up some big numbers against their anemic offense. The Bruins are owned in just seven percent of leagues. Look for that number to jump in a big, big hurry.

Five units to avoid in Week 5

Florida DST: The Gators are still reeling from their last-second loss against Auburn last weekend. Now, they have to regroup and travel to Baton Rouge for a game against the top-ranked LSU Tigers. Ugh. The defending national champs have their work cut out for them. None of their units are worth using for this difficult game, but especially their defense, which will have its hands full.

Iowa QBs: Jake Christensen finally had a good day against Indiana last weekend, posting 308 yards and three touchdowns. Iowa has struggled mightily, as has the quarterback. However, on a positive note, the Hawkeyes do not have to face Michigan or Ohio State. On a negative note, they have Penn State, Illinois and Purdue in the next three, which should not give Fantasy owners very good results.

Oregon State WRs: Sammie Stroughter missed last weekend's game against UCLA due to a bruised kidney. It doesn't sound too positive that he will be able to return any time soon. There is only one reason to own the Oregon State receivers unit and that's Stroughter. When he has been in there, the Beavers have 82 Fantasy points in two weeks. When he is out, 54 points in three games. Anyway, it's finally time to cut bait, especially with California and USC on the horizon.

Southern California QBs: Stick with me here, because I know I'll get a lot of negative feedback concerning this one. The Trojans have managed 105 Fantasy points in four games. That is more than one-third of the production of Graham Harrell and Texas Tech. Here are five teams that have also played just four games and rank better in terms of Fantasy production: Alabama-Birmingham (139.8 points), Arkansas State (125 points), Houston (143 points), North Texas (106 points) and Rutgers (142.8 points).

Virginia Tech RBs: The Virginia Tech running backs, led by Branden Ore with 298 yards and three rushing touchdowns, has been disappointing. The Hokies are still 4-1 this season, but Ore has averaged just 3.5 yards per carry against an early season schedule including East Carolina, Ohio and William & Mary. To be fair, LSU was also on their schedule. However, now they get into ACC play and have an angry Clemson team this weekend. Not good.
