Ladler was signed from the Giants' practice squad to the team's 53-man roster Thursday.
Ladler received the promotion after the Giants placed fellow safety Landon Collins (shoulder) on injured reserve Thursday. Ladler suited up in five games for the Redskins this season, accumulating six tackles (one solo). The Vanderbilt product should provide some much needed depth to the Giants' secondary.
