Joe Burrow has been one of the biggest disappointments in the Fantasy football rankings so far. Many expected last week to be a chance for him to bounce back against a weak Titans pass defense. Instead, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft completed 20 of 30 passes for 165 yards and no touchdowns, finishing as the QB28. Fresh off signing his contract to become the highest-paid player in NFL history on an annual basis at $55 million a year, Burrow is QB31 in Fantasy football this season. Can you feel confident using Burow in Week 5 Fantasy football lineups?

Burrow was QB4 in Fantasy football last season, but his production this year is nowhere near that tier. How high should he be placed in Week 5 Fantasy football QB rankings entering a matchup against the Cardinals? Before you lock in your Week 5 Fantasy football lineups, be sure to check out the Week 5 Fantasy football rankings from the advanced computer model at SportsLine.

When it comes to ranking players, SportsLine's model beat human experts in Fantasy football for the past several seasons especially when there were big differences in ranking. Over the course of a season, that could literally be the difference between winning your league or going home empty-handed.

Now, the model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, has revealed its Fantasy football rankings for Week 5 of the 2023 NFL season. Head to SportsLine now to see its Week 5 Fantasy football rankings.

Top Week 5 Fantasy football picks

One player the model is high on this week: Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams. The No. 12 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft had his suspension reduced from six games to four stemming from a violation of the NFL's gambling policy. He'll make his season debut on Sunday against the Panthers and could find himself in position to produce. Amon-Ra St. Brown, the team's No. 1 receiver, hasn't practiced all week with an abdominal injury and if he can't play on Sunday, Williams could quickly become the Lions' WR1.

Williams only touched the ball twice last season, but that's all it took to showcase his potential. The former Alabama superstar had a 40-yard rush and a 41-yard touchdown reception in his two touches last year. He only played six games last year after missing the first 11 weeks with a torn ACL suffered in the National Championship Game and was allowed to be around the team during training camp and preseason. The model expects an immediate impact from Williams against the Panthers, who allowed an opposing receiver to record at least 85 yards in their last three games.

And a massive shocker: Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, who is rostered in 95% of CBS Sports Fantasy football leagues and was started in nearly one-third of them, stumbles big-time and doesn't even crack the top 20 at his position. He's a player to consider leaving out of your Week 5 Fantasy football lineups.

Prescott averaged over 300 yards per game with 76 touchdowns in 37 games from 2019 to 2021 and was one of the top Fantasy football quarterbacks in the NFL when healthy. However, he led the NFL with 15 interceptions in 2022 despite missing five games and hasn't thrown for more than 261 yards in a game yet this season. Prescott also only has one game with multiple passing touchdowns and the model is steering clear in a tough matchup in San Francisco in Week 5. For more start/sit Fantasy football advice, be sure to check out the rest of the Week 5 Fantasy football rankings.
