Archer has been released by the Jets, ESPN reports.
Selected by Pittsburgh in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft, Archer has yet to make good on his sub-4.3 speed, picking up just 63 yards on 17 offensive touches (seven catches). He also hasn't done much in the return game, which could represent his best opportunity to stick around in the NFL. It obviously isn't a good sign that he's already been released by two organizations.
