Jones was signed to the Texans' 53-man roster Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Jones' arrival will add depth at safety after the team was forced to place K.J. Dillon on IR with a torn ACL. The Texans' will be the fifth team Jones plays for thus far in his four-year career.
