Jones signed a two-year contract with the 49ers on Friday.
Jones is among the best gunners in the league and led the Texans with 11 special teams tackles in 2016, despite playing in just nine games. Given the barren nature of the 49ers' secondary, he could conceivably carve out a role on defense this upcoming season.
