Shamet has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the 76ers with a right rib sprain.
Shamet didn't practice Tuesday with what Chase Hughes of Monumental Sports Network had previously reported as a neck issue, but an injury to the guard's ribs is instead the cause of his absence Wednesday. The 26-year-old had seen double-digit minutes in each of his previous seven games, averaging 10.3 points, 2.0 three-pointers, 1.7 assists and 1.6 rebounds in 18.7 minutes per contest while shooting 52.9 percent from the field.
