The Reds declined Suter's $3 million option for 2026 on Wednesday.
Suter will receive a $250,000 buyout instead. The veteran southpaw collected a 4.52 ERA and 53:18 K:BB across 67.2 frames for the Reds in 2025. With the versatility to go multiple innings and start a game in a pinch, Suter shouldn't have trouble landing another contract this winter.
