The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers will look to defend their home field on Thursday against the Georgia State Panthers at 7:30 p.m. ET at Brooks Stadium. Coastal Carolina is out to keep their four-game home win streak alive.

Last Saturday, Coastal Carolina humbled Duquesne with a 66-7 smackdown. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-0.

QB Grayson McCall looked spectacular while leading his team to the win, throwing for 169 yards and two touchdowns. McCall wound up with a passer rating of 205. It was a true group effort though, as the team also got help from RB Braydon Bennett, who rushed for 58 yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, Georgia State strolled past Charlotte with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 41-25.

QB Darren Grainger was a one-man wrecking crew for Georgia State as he threw for 466 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 23 yards and a rushing score. Grainger wound up with a passer rating of 230.4. WR Robert Lewis was in the mix too, providing Georgia State with two touchdowns.

Coastal Carolina and Georgia State pleased both fans and bettors in their last games by winning and covering the spread. Looking ahead, Coastal Carolina shouldn't be too worried about this matchup, as the experts have them favored by 6.5 points. They might be worth a quick bet since they're covered the spread the last three times they've played.
