Game Recap
The BYU Cougars weren't the first ones on the board two weeks ago, but they got there more often. They came out on top against the UTSA Roadrunners by a score of 27-20. The victory was familiar territory for BYU, who is still undefeated after four games.
BYU QB Zach Wilson was slinging it as he passed for two TDs and 292 yards on 30 attempts in addition to punching in one rushing touchdown. That makes it four straight good games from Wilson. BYU also got help from WR Dax Milne, who showed off his sure hands for 102 receiving yards in the win.
Despite the loss, UTSA got a solid performance out of QB Lowell Narcisse, who passed for two TDs and 229 yards on 20 attempts. Narcisse ended the contest strong with a streak of 13 complete passes.
BYU's victory brought them up to 4-0. This is the second loss in a row for the Roadrunners and nudges their record down to 3-2.
BYU will take on the Houston Cougars at 9:30 p.m. ET last Friday at TDECU Stadium. BYU has seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Houston is surely hoping to exploit. UTSA will look to defend their home turf last week against the Army West Point Black Knights at 1:30 p.m. ET. Army is 2-1 after wins this season, and UTSA is 0-1 after losses.
