ASU vs. USC Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAAF game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Arizona State vs. USC football game
Through 3 Quarters
The Arizona State Sun Devils are just one quarter away from delivering their fans the win they've been expecting all week. a victory is still up for grabs for either team, but they are up 17-16 over the USC Trojans
ASU has been led by RB Rachaad White, who so far has rushed for one TD and 127 yards on 18 carries. This nimble footwork stands out as the first time White has hit the 100-yard rushing mark this season.
USC has been relying on QB Jaxson Dart, who has accumulated 56 passing yards in addition to punching in one rushing touchdown, and WR Tahj Washington, who has caught nine passes for 78 yards.
The Trojans haven't lost 100% of the games in which they were down heading into the final period this year, so a win here would be refreshing.

What to Know
The USC Trojans are 5-1 against the Arizona State Sun Devils since September of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. USC and ASU will face off in a Pac-12 battle at 10:30 p.m. ET at Sun Devil Stadium, Frank Kush Field. The Trojans will be strutting in after a victory while ASU will be stumbling in from a defeat.
USC beat the Arizona Wildcats 41-34 last week. The team accrued 35 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win. RB Keaontay Ingram continued his habit of dropping crazy stat lines, rushing for one TD and 186 yards on 26 carries.
USC's defense was a presence as well, as it got past Arizona's offensive line to sack QB Will Plummer five times for a total loss of 28 yards. Leading the way was DL Tuli Tuipulotu and his two sacks. Tuipulotu now has 3.5 sacks through eight games.
Meanwhile, the Sun Devils entered their matchup against the Washington State Cougars last week without any home losses -- but there's a first time for everything. ASU took a 34-21 hit to the loss column. They were down 28-7 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from. No one had a standout game offensively for ASU, but they got scores from a handful of players including RB DeaMonte Trayanum, WR LV Bunkley-Shelton, and QB Trenton Bourguet.
USC is expected to lose this next one by 9.5. They have failed bettors playing the spread in their past three games, so buyers beware.
USC's victory brought them up to 4-4 while the Sun Devils' loss pulled them down to 5-3. A couple defensive numbers to keep in mind before kickoff: The Trojans are stumbling into the contest with the 210th most passing touchdowns allowed in the nation, having given up 12 on the season. ASU has experienced some struggles of their own as they are 174th worst in the nation in rushing touchdowns allowed, with nine on the season. It's possible one of these Achilles' heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
