Thomas Walkup: Waived by Bulls
Walkup was waived by the Bulls Friday.
Walkup was never expected to make the Bulls' final roster after signing a training camp deal in late September, but the shooting guard was impressive enough in college at Stephen F. Austin, especially after his impressive performances in the 2016 NCAA Tournament, to warrant a chance to play in the D-League or overseas once he clears waivers.
