College basketball picks for USC vs. Washington

Before tuning into the Washington vs. USC game, you need to see the college basketball picks from SportsLine's advanced computer model. The model simulates every Division I college basketball game 10,000 times. It entered Week 17 of the 2023-24 season on a 139-94 roll on all top-rated college basketball picks dating back to last season, returning nearly $2,300 for $100 players. It is also off to a sizzling 25-14 start on top-rated spread picks this season. Anyone following has seen huge returns.

For USC vs. Washington, the model projects that Washington covers the spread as a 4.5-point favorite.

The Trojans have struggled to get things going offensively this season. They are averaging just 74.1 points per game, which is tied for 178th nationally. They've failed to top 72 points in three of their last four games.

That lack of offense should present problems against a Washington squad that averages 81.2 points per game. Forward Keion Brooks Jr. is the top scorer in the Pac-12 at 21.3 points per game. He's coming off a huge 32-point performance against UCLA where he hit 6 of 7 from 3-point range.

That model is projecting that he'll push for 20 points in this one as Washington scores nearly 80 as a team and covers the spread in more than 50% of simulations. Stream the game here.
