The North Florida Ospreys will head out on the road to face off against the SC State Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. ET on Monday at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Center. North Florida might want some stickum for this game since the team gave up nine turnovers on Thursday.

Winning is just a little bit easier when you drain eight more threes than your opponent, a fact North Florida proved. They walked away with a 81-70 victory over the Buccaneers. The win made it back-to-back wins for North Florida.

SC State was no doubt aware that the odds were against they in their match with South Florida but that awareness did nothing to prevent the predicted outcome. The Bulldogs were dealt a punishing 96-52 loss at the hands of the Bulls on Thursday. SC State was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-23.

The Ospreys' victory lifted them to 2-0 while the Bulldogs' loss dropped them down to 1-1.

Going forward, North Florida is the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by 3.5 points. They finished last season with an even 14-14 record against the spread.

North Florida beat SC State 72-66 in their previous matchup back in November of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Florida since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
