How To Watch

What to Know

We've got another exciting Big 12 matchup on schedule as the UCF Knights and the Okla. State Cowboys are set to tip at 8:00 p.m. ET on February 28th at Gallagher-Iba Arena. UCF is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.

Winning is just a little bit easier when your three-point shooting is a whole 21.4% better than the opposition, a fact UCF proved on Saturday. They came out on top against the Red Raiders by a score of 75-61.

UCF can attribute much of their success to Darius Johnson, who scored 16 points along with five assists and four steals. Johnson hasn't dropped below three steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Jaylin Sellers, who scored 15 points.

Meanwhile, Okla. State fought the good fight in their overtime match against the Sooners on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They lost 84-82 to the Sooners on a last-minute jump shot From Javian McCollum. The match was as close as the oddsmakers predicted, but Okla. State was the slight favorite coming in.

Despite their defeat, Okla. State saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Eric Dailey Jr., who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Quion Williams was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.

The Knights' victory bumped their record up to 14-12. As for the Cowboys, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-15.

UCF will be fighting an uphill battle on Wednesday as the experts have pegged them as the 2.5-point underdog. For those looking to play the spread, keep UCF in mind: they have a solid 15-11 record against the spread this season.

UCF didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the Cowboys in their previous meeting back in November of 2022, but they still walked away with a 60-56 win. Does UCF have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cowboys turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
