With its back against the wall, Syracuse did exactly what it needed to do to get back in the NCAA Tournament conversation, taking down No. 10 Duke with a buzzer-beating 3-pointer, as seen above.

It was a back-and-forth game down the stretch, but star John Gillon banked in the winning shot to send Syracuse to a 78-75 victory, followed, of course, by the requisite court storm.

Duke had its seven-game win streak snapped, and continues to look capable of beating anyone or losing to anyone on any given night. Almost every game the Devils play in is in question with five minutes to go. Syracuse, meanwhile, also appears capable of beating anyone on the right night, and with this victory almost sealing its spot in the dance, this probably isn’t a lower-seeded team many teams will want to face.
