The Eagles are led by senior forward Matt Rogers, who was named Patriot League Player of the Week for the third time in his career on Feb. 5. He earned the honor with his back-to-back near double-doubles. In a 69-66 win over Lafayette on Jan. 31, Rogers poured in 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds. In a 75-66 overtime win over Bucknell on Feb. 3, he had 23 points, grabbed nine rebounds and added seven assists. He is coming off a 23-point and seven rebound effort in Sunday's win at Colgate. Senior guard Lorenzo Donadio is among American's scoring leaders, and is averaging 9.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 29 games, all starts. He was dominant in the win over Army last month, scoring 13 points, grabbing five rebounds and dishing out four assists. Freshman forward Josh Scovens, who has started 28 of 29 games, continues to power the Black Knights. In 31.1 minutes of play, he is averaging 12.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.2 blocks. He has two double-doubles on the year, including a 20-point and 10-rebound effort in a 58-50 win over the Merchant Marine on Dec. 30.
