Why you should back Sheffield United

The Blades faced a much tougher Championship club – and had a much easier time – than Wrexham did in the previous round. Millwall are eighth in the table, two points behind third place, while Coventry City are 15th. United allowed just one shot on target in the match, while Wrexham were outshot 22-9 (8-6 on net). The Blades have the best defensive record in the Championship, with 24 goals conceded in 28 matches, while their 48 goals are the second-most in the league.

The Sheffield United attack has plenty of players who can cause trouble for the Wrexham defense. Iliman Ndiaye leads the Championship with a combined 17 goals and assists. If he is rested, players like Oliver McBurnie (nine goals), Billy Sharp (two) and Daniel Jebbison (one) can step up. Oliver Norwood is a key cog in the middle and has two goals and five assists. He is the only Sheffield United player to start every match and leads the league in tackles won (51) and passes into the penalty area (54).
