Rueschhoff was traded from the Rangers to the Predators in exchange for future considerations Tuesday, Arthur Staple of The Athletic reports.
Rueschhoff has drawn into 31 games with AHL Hartford this season, picking up 11 points over that span. Look for him to report to Nashville's minor-league affiliate in Milwaukee.

Rangers' Austin Rueschhoff: Signs one-year deal
Rueschhoff signed a one-year contract with the Rangers on Monday.
The 24-year-old has yet to make his NHL debut, most recently putting up 24 points in 59 games with AHL Hartford last season. Rueschhoff brings a commanding physical presence with his 6-foot-7, 230-pound frame, but he doesn't appear set to make the jump to regular NHL duty anytime soon.

Rueschhoff's return to practice is unlikely to change the fact that he is a long shot to secure a spot on the Opening Night roster. Fantasy players should be expecting him to return to AHL Hartford, for which he tallied four goals and four assists in 23 games last year.
