Prosvetov was reassigned to AHL Tucson on Friday, per CapFriendly. Prosvetov spent most of the year in the minors, logging a 3.06 GAA and a .900 save percentage through 35 appearances. He coughed up 28 goals in seven NHL games.... See More ... See Less

Coyotes' Ivan Prosvetov: Scratched from start
Contrary to a previous report, Prosvetov won't start Thursday versus the Canucks. The Coyotes announced Prosvetov as the starter during warmups, but it was Karel Vejmelka who began the game in goal. No reason for the switch was provided at the time of the announcement.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Ivan Prosvetov: Expected to start Thursday
Prosvetov will guard the home crease against Vancouver on Thursday. Prosvetov has struggled recently, posting a 5.69 GAA and an .822 save percentage over his last four outings. Through seven NHL games this season, he has a 4-3-0 record, 3.98 GAA and .880 save percentage. The Canucks have a 37-37-7 record after winning three of their last four contests.... See More ... Coyotes' Ivan Prosvetov: Gives up four goals in loss
Prosvetov allowed four goals on 37 shots in Monday's 4-1 loss to the Kraken. It's an improvement on the eight goals he gave up against the Kraken last Monday in Seattle, but it's still Prosvetov's third loss in his last four games. The 24-year-old netminder has surrendered 23 tallies in that span. It's a bit of a trial by fire playing behind a weak team late in the season, but it could be preparation for Prosvetov to serve as the full-time backup next season. He's at 4-3-0 with a 3.98 GAA and an .880 save percentage in seven NHL contests this season. The Coyotes' season finale is Thursday versus the Canucks.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Ivan Prosvetov: Starting Monday
Prosvetov will patrol the home crease Monday against Seattle, Craig Morgan of PHNX Sports reports. Prosvetov is coming off a 25-save effort in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over Anaheim. He has a 4-2-0 record this season with a 3.98 GAA and an .878 save percentage. The Kraken rank fourth in the league this campaign with 3.58 goals per game.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Ivan Prosvetov: Rebounds after tough stretch
Prosvetsov made 25 saves in a 5-4 overtime win over the Ducks on Saturday. The Coyotes had a 3-1 lead by the halfway point of the second period, but Provetsov and his mates couldn't hold the lead. Max Jones fired a perfect snap shot from the slot that top corner bar down over the netminder's glove to move Anaheim ahead 4-3 with less than two minutes to play. Mattias Maccelli bailed him out with the tying goal with 36 seconds left and Barrett Hayton got the winner in OT. Provetsov had come off two horrendous outings where he allowed 15 goals total, so consider this a rebound of sorts.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Ivan Prosvetov: Starting against Anaheim
Prosvetov will defend the blue paint during Saturday's home game versus the Ducks, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Prosvetov has been horrendous of late, having suffered back-to-back defeats to the Sharks and the Kraken while surrendering a whopping 15 goals over that span. He'll attempt to get back on track in a highly favorable home matchup with an Anaheim team that's lost nine straight games.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Ivan Prosvetov: Guarding goal Monday
Prosvetov will guard the road goal Monday against Seattle, Craig Morgan of PHNX Sports reports. Prosvetov surrendered seven goals on 31 shots in a 7-2 loss to the Sharks on Saturday. Prior to that disastrous start, he turned aside 100 of 105 shots en route to his first three NHL victories. The Kraken rank fifth in the league this campaign with 3.45 goals per game.... See More ... Coyotes' Ivan Prosvetov: Surrenders seven goals to Sharks
Prosvetov stopped 24 of 31 shots in a 7-2 loss to San Jose on Saturday. Prosvetov, who made his season debut March 9, was great over his first three appearances with Arizona in 2022-23, posting a 3-0-0 record, 1.67 GAA and .952 save percentage in that span. By contrast, Saturday's contest went wrong right from the start with Noah Gregor finding the back of the net early in the first period. By the time the opening frame ended, Prosvetov had been beaten three times and things continued to go downhill from there. Arizona has five games left on its schedule, so perhaps Prosvetov will get a chance to end the campaign on a better note than this.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Ivan Prosvetov: In goal Saturday
Prosvetov will guard the home goal Saturday versus the Sharks, Craig Morgan of PHNX Sports reports. Prosvetov will play for the first time in seven games after Karel Vejmelka took the loss Friday versus the Stars. Through three starts this season, Prosvetov is 3-0-0 with five goals allowed on 105 shots. He'll be a solid streaming option for Saturday's game.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Ivan Prosvetov: Earns third straight win
Prosvetov allowed two goals on 34 shots in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Blackhawks. Prosvetov has won all three of his appearances so far, allowing a total of five goals on 105 shots. The 24-year-old is still seeing favorable matchups -- none of the teams he's faced are in a playoff spot. It's a good way to build some confidence for the Coyotes' goalie of the future while also building in some rest for Karel Vejmelka late in the season. Prosvetov is expected to end the campaign with the Coyotes since AHL Tucson is unlikely to make the playoffs.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Ivan Prosvetov: Taking on Chicago
Prosvetov will patrol the home crease Saturday against Chicago, Patrick Brown of the Coyotes' official site reports. Prosvetov will make his second straight start after stopping 29 shots in Thursday's 3-2 win over Vancouver. He has stopped 68 of 71 shots at the NHL level this season en route to a 2-0-0 record. The Blackhawks rank 32nd in the league this campaign with 2.51 goals per game.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Ivan Prosvetov: Earns 29-save victory
Prosvetov turned aside 29 of 31 shots in a 3-2 victory over Vancouver on Thursday. Prosvetov was beaten early in the first period, but Arizona scored the next three goals to help the 24-year-old goaltender secure his second NHL win of the campaign. He's allowed just three goals on 71 shots in two starts with Arizona this season. Prosvetov is expected to stay with the Coyotes for the remainder of 2022-23, so he should get more work with them, even if Arizona is currently carrying three healthy goaltenders.... See More ... Coyotes' Ivan Prosvetov: Will be in net Thursday
Prosvetov will start in Thursday's home game against Vancouver, Coyotes coach Andre Tourigny told Craig Morgan of PHNX Sports. Prosvetov made his NHL season debut March 9, stopping 39 of 40 shots in a 4-1 win over Nashville. He has a 3.06 GAA and a .900 save percentage in 35 AHL games with Tucson this season, but Tourigny said Prosvetov will stay with Arizona for the rest of the season. Vancouver will be a significant test for him, given that the Canucks have the 10th-ranked offense with 3.36 goals per game in 2022-23.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Ivan Prosvetov: Excellent in season debut
Prosvetov stopped 39 of 40 shots in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Predators. Prosvetov earned his first NHL win with an excellent performance in goal. He was two minutes shy of a shutout when Cody Glass spoiled it. Prosvetov has been just okay with AHL Tucson this year, but it appears the Coyotes want to see what they have in the 24-year-old, who is considered their top goaltending prospect. If the Coyotes continue to carry three goalies, it's tough to see any of Prosvetov, Karel Vejmelka or Connor Ingram returning much fantasy value.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Ivan Prosvetov: Starting Thursday
Prosvetov will start Thursday's home game versus the Predators. Prosvetov was called up just before the game and will start, with Karel Vejmelka not suiting up. The team has yet to provide any indication what's keeping Vejmelka from playing. Prosvetov has a 3.06 GAA and a .900 save percentage through 35 games with AHL Tucson, so fantasy managers shouldn't expect much of him during his time with the big club.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Ivan Prosvetov: Up with Coyotes
Prosvetov was summoned by Arizona on Thursday. Prosvetov has a 3.06 GAA and a .900 save percentage in 35 AHL contests with Tucson this season. He hasn't played for Arizona in 2022-23, but he does have a 4.19 GAA and an .858 save percentage in six career NHL games. Arizona also reassigned Jean-Sebastien Dea to Tucson on Thursday, leaving the Coyotes with Karel Vejmelka, Connor Ingram and Prosvetov as their active goaltenders.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Ivan Prosvetov: Joining Coyotes
Prosvetov was promoted from AHL Tucson on Sunday. Prosvetov will serve as Karel Vejmelka's backup while Connor Ingram deals with an illness. The 23-year-old has registered an .899 save percentage and a 3.20 GAA through 18 games with AHL Tucson this season.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Ivan Prosvetov: Sent to AHL
Prosvetov was assigned to AHL Tucson on Saturday. Prosvetov was always a long shot to make the Coyotes' roster, and that became even more obvious when they claimed Jonas Johansson on waivers. Instead, Prosvetov will likely see a starter's workload at Tucson as he continues to gain professional experience in the minors.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Ivan Prosvetov: Signs one-year extension
Prosvetov signed a one-year, contract extension with the Coyotes on Tuesday. Prosvetov spent most of the 2021-22 campaign with AHL Tucson, going 15-22-5 while posting a sub-par 3.66 GAA and .880 save percentage, but he also drew into three games with the Coyotes, recording an 0-2-1 record while posting a 4.22 GAA and an .875 save percentage. The 23-year-old Russian will likely once again spend most of the 2022-23 season in the minors.... See More ... See Less
