The Senators recalled Reinhardt from AHL Belleville on Thursday.
Reinhardt passed through waivers Saturday and was recalled to fill out the Senators' lineup this weekend for their final preseason games. He will no doubt be sent back to AHL Belleville following those two contests. Reinhardt spent the entire 2023-24 campaign with Belleville, registering eight goals and 15 assists in 56 regular-season appearances.

Reinhardt was recalled from AHL Belleville on Thursday.
Given the Senators' current forward absences, Reinhardt may be immediately pressed into service versus Nashville on Thursday. If he does play, it would represent the 22-year-old winger's NHL debut, having played exclusively in the minors over the last two years. Even if Reinhardt does suit up, it will likely be in a bottom-six role in which he plays limited minutes.

Reinhardt's demotion suggests Drake Batherson (illness), Dylan Gambrell (illness) or Tim Stutzle (knee) will likely be ready to return Saturday versus the Rangers. Reinhardt's picked up 26 points through 60 AHL appearances this season.
