Reichel will be a healthy scratch Sunday against Minnesota, per Scott Powers of The Athletic. Reichel logged just 11:29 of ice time in Saturday's 3-1 loss to Winnipeg. The 21-year-old forward has two goals and six points in 22 appearances this season, including one goal and one helper in his past three outings. Per Scott Powers of The Athletic, Cole Guttman (upper body) and Reese Johnson will replace Anthony Beauvillier (not injury related) and Reichel in the lineup Sunday.... See More ... See Less

Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Scores first of season
Reichel tallied a power-play goal in Thursday's 4-2 loss to Tampa Bay. Reichel opened the scoring in the first period, deflecting a Philipp Kurashev shot past Jonas Johansson on the man advantage for his first goal of the season. The 21-year-old Reichel now has a goal and an assist in his last two games after opening the year with just one point (an assist) in his first 12 games. Despite his slow offensive start, Reichel should continue to see top-six minutes in addition to a role on Chicago's top power-play unit.... See More ... See Less -
Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Sitting with one point
Reichel has recorded one point, 23 shots and six blocks in 11 games this season. Reichel has been getting opportunities with the man advantage, logging 1:50 of ice time per game on the power play, but he's continued to struggle to produce offensively. If the young winger doesn't start finding the scoresheet soon, he could see himself dropped from the top six in favor of veterans Taylor Hall or Tyler Johnson.... See More ... See Less -
Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Heads to AHL
Reichel was assigned to AHL Rockford on Monday. Reichel has notched seven goals and 15 points in 23 games with the Blackhawks this season. He will try to help Rockford secure a spot in the AHL playoffs. In a corresponding move, Chicago recalled Buddy Robinson from the minors.... See More ... See Less -
Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Notches two helpers Tuesday
Reichel registered two assists in Chicago's 4-3 win over Calgary on Tuesday. Reichel has been on a roll, collecting three goals and six points over his last six outings. That gives him six goals and 13 points in 21 contests this season. The 20-year-old has also spent time in the AHL in 2022-23, providing 17 goals and 46 points in 51 appearances with Rockford. Taken with the No. 17 pick in the 2020 NHL Draft, Reichel might be able to spend the entire 2023-24 campaign with the Blackhawks.... See More ... See Less -
Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Scores in loss
Reichel scored a goal on five shots in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Canucks. Reichel cut Chicago's deficit to 3-2 late in the third period, stuffing a loose puck past Collin Delia. The 20-year-old Reichel now has five goals and nine points in 17 games this season. While he hasn't provided consistent scoring, the 2020 first-round pick should continue to see first-line usage in Chicago down the stretch.... See More ... See Less -
Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Nets goal in win
Reichel scored a goal and went plus-2 in Monday's 5-0 win over the Senators. Reichel has a goal and an assist over three games since he rejoined the Blackhawks following their trade-deadline sell-off. The 20-year-old has stepped into a top-line role alongside Philipp Kurashev and Andreas Athanasiou -- the latter set up Reichel's insurance goal in the third period Monday. Reichel is up to two goals, five points, 12 shots on net, six blocked shots and a plus-2 rating through seven NHL appearances this season.... See More ... See Less -
Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Supplies helper in loss
Reichel recorded an assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Predators. Reichel helped out on a Seth Jones goal in the first period. The 20-year-old Reichel should have a chance to do some learning on the job in the NHL over the rest of the season, as the Blackhawks' sell-off at the trade deadline opened up some significant playing time. He has four points, 11 shots on net, five blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating through six NHL outings so far this season.... See More ... See Less -
Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Sent down in paper transaction
Reichel was assigned to AHL Rockford and then promptly recalled by the Blackhawks on Friday. This was just a paper move to make Reichel eligible for the AHL playoffs. The 20-year-old winger, who's considered by most to be Chicago's top prospect, has picked up three points through five top-level appearances this season.... See More ... See Less -
Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Back in NHL
Reichel was recalled from AHL Rockford on Thursday. Reichel is one of the Blackhawks' top prospects -- he was selected in the first round, 17th overall, in 2020. Reichel has a goal and three points in four NHL games this season, and he's added 17 goals and 46 points in 51 AHL games. Reichel should get a great chance to showcase his abilities the rest of the season as the Blackhawks dealt Patrick Kane to the Rangers on Tuesday and should be looking to evaluate their youngsters the rest of the way.... Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Sent to AHL
Reichel was reassigned to AHL Rockford on Friday, Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago reports. Reichel returned for three games -- Patrick Kane suffered a lower-body injury -- and had a goal and two assists, all against Calgary on Monday. The 20-year-old was drafted 17th overall in 2020 and was lighting the AHL on fire with 14 goals and 36 points in 32 games before his recall. He should return to the Blackhawks before the end of the season.... See More ... See Less -
Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Has three-point game
Reichel scored a goal and registered two assists in Chicago's 4-3 overtime win against Calgary on Sunday. Reichel opened the scoring at 2:39 of the first period and went on to provide the primary assist on Max Domi's overtime winner. Reichel was playing in his third NHL game this season after being held off the scoresheet in his first two outings. The 20-year-old has 14 goals and 36 points in 32 contests with AHL Rockford in 2022-23.... See More ... See Less -
Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Back with big club
Reichel has been recalled by the Blackhawks, per the NHL media site. Reichel is expected to draw into his second NHL contest of the season Friday against Arizona. The 20-year-old winger has racked up 14 goals and 36 points through 32 AHL appearances this season.... See More ... See Less -
Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Sent back down
Reichel was reassigned to AHL Rockford on Wednesday. Reichel's demotion is likely an indication that Jonathan Toews (illness) will be ready to go for Friday's matchup with Winnipeg. In the minors, the 20-year-old Reichel has been lighting it up with 10 goals and 13 assists in 19 contests. He should remain atop the list of potential call-ups throughout the rest of the season when needed.... See More ... See Less -
Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Surprise cut from camp
Reichel was assigned to AHL Rockford on Tuesday, Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago reports. Reichel, who's considered to be Chicago's top prospect, was expected by many to make the big club's Opening Night roster, but general manager Kyle Davidson wants to be patient with the organization's young talent, and he evidently believes Reichel's development will be better served by taking on a featured role with Rockford rather than a limited role with the rebuilding Blackhawks, at least to start the season. From a fantasy perspective, Reichel remains an attractive asset in dynasty formats, but his viability in redraft leagues for the 2022-23 campaign looks iffy at best at this point.... See More ... Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Back with big club
Reichel was called up from AHL Rockford on Tuesday. Reichel will get his third stint with the Blackhawks this season. He's been excellent with 21 goals and 28 assists in 49 games with Rockford, but he's still in search for his first point at the NHL level. The 19-year-old could draw into the lineup as soon as Thursday's game versus the Kraken.... See More ... See Less -
Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Recalled Friday
Reichel was recalled from AHL Rockford on Friday, Tracey Myers of NHL.com reports. The No. 17 overall pick from 2020 made his NHL debut in January, going scoreless in a pair of games. Reichel has been dynamite with the IceHogs, reeling off 33 points in 33 games -- all before his 20th birthday. If he gets another look in the Blackhawks lineup, he could make for a sneaky DFS play.... See More ... See Less -
Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Reassigned to AHL Rockford
Reichel was demoted from the active roster to AHL Rockford on Sunday, Carter Baum of the Blackhawks' official site reports. Reichel has averaged 15:23 of ice time -- 1:08 during the power play -- and has been held without a point over his two NHL appearances. The 19-year-old has tallied 20 points over 20 appearances with AHL Rockford this season.... See More ... See Less -
Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Making NHL debut
Reichel will be elevated to the Blackhawks' active roster and make his NHL debut Thursday versus Montreal, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Reichel has been excellent in the minors this season, having racked up 11 goals and 20 points through 20 games with AHL Rockford. At this point it isn't clear where Reichel will slot into the lineup Thursday, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him take on a middle-six role against the Canadiens.... See More ... See Less -
Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Joins taxi squad
The Blackhawks recalled Reichel from AHL Rockford to the taxi squad Wednesday, Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago reports. The 2020 first-round pick has totaled 11 goals and nine assists at the AHL level this season. Reichel only figures to make his NHL debut anytime soon if several Blackhawks regulars become unavailable.... See More ... See Less
