Frederic scored a goal on two shots and added three hits in Wednesday's 6-5 overtime win over the Oilers. Frederic has four points over his last three games to follow up a five-game dry spell. The 26-year-old was on the fourth line Wednesday, but he's often played in a middle-six role in 2023-24. It's been his breakout campaign, as Frederic has a career-high 33 points with 84 shots on net, 128 hits, 50 PIM and a plus-15 rating over 57 appearances in 2023-24.... See More ... See Less

Bruins' Trent Frederic: Two-point effort Saturday
Frederic produced a goal and an assist in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Kings. He also chipped in six hits, five PIM and two shots on net. Frederic snapped a five-game point drought with the performance. The 26-year-old has already tied his previous personal best with 31 points (15 goals, 16 assists) this season through 55 games, and he's two goals short of matching the career-high 17 he scored in 2022-23.... Bruins' Trent Frederic: Posts helper in overtime loss
Frederic supplied an assist, two shots on goal and two hits in Thursday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Golden Knights. Frederic went two games without a point entering Thursday before setting up a Matt Grzelcyk game-tying goal in the third period. With five goals and four assists over his last 10 games, Frederic is making the most of his middle-six minutes. The power forward has 22 points, 59 shots on net, 72 hits, 36 PIM and a plus-11 rating over 41 appearances this season.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Trent Frederic: Five goals in last four games
Frederic scored two goals Saturday in a 7-3 win over Tampa Bay. His first came on the power play, and it tied the game 1-1. Kevin Shattenkirk fired a shot pass to Frederic, who quickly spun toward the net to lift the puck over Andrei Vasilevskiy. His second, which he banked off Vasilevskiy from a tight angle, put the Bruins up 3-1 at 1:49 of the second. Frederic has been hot of late, with five goals (six points) in his last four games. And with a 20-plus goal and 45-point pace, he's taking a big step forward from his 31 career mark from last season. He may be available on the wire.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Trent Frederic: Erupts for three points in Detroit
Frederic scored two goals and added an assist in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Red Wings. The 25-year-old potted Boston's first two tallies before setting up Jake DeBrusk for an empty-netter in the third period. It's Frederic's first three-point performance since March 3, 2022, and his second multi-goal effort of the current campaign. While his bottom-six role and lack of playing time puts a firm ceiling on his breakout potential, Frederic is on track for a career-best season with nine goals and 18 points through 35 games. The 2016 first-round pick even picked up the pace in December, delivering four goals and nine points in 13 contests.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Trent Frederic: Supplies goal in win over Toronto
Frederic found the back of the net in Boston's 4-3 overtime win over Toronto on Saturday. Frederic has been held off the scoresheet just once over his last four contests, providing a goal and three points over that stretch. He's up to six goals and 10 points in 23 games this season. Frederic is serving primarily as a bottom-six forward and almost never gets power-play ice time, so his offensive pace is unlikely to improve as the campaign progresses -- if anything, his current scoring pace is impressive given his limited role.... Bruins' Trent Frederic: Four points in last four games
Frederic scored two goals Saturday in a 5-2 win over Montreal. Frederic redirected a point shot out of the air and past Jake Allen to push the Bruins up 2-0 with less than a minute left in the first period. And then stretched the lead to 4-1 late in the second on a breakaway, right after the Habs had scored and appeared to be gaining momentum. Frederic has four points, including three goals, in his last four games.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Trent Frederic: Gathers helper
Frederic notched an assist and five shots on goal in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Sharks. Frederic set up James van Riemsdyk's tally in the first period, which stood as the game-winner. With a goal and an assist through three games, Frederic has been solid as a depth scorer on the third line. The physical forward has added 10 shots on net, six hits and a plus-2 rating. His ability to rack up hits and PIM could make him a viable depth option in fantasy formats that count those metrics.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Trent Frederic: Lights lamp to kick off B's scoring
Frederic scored his team's first goal of the new campaign in a 3-1 home victory against the Blackhawks on Wednesday. Frederic leveled the scoring after an early goal by Chicago's Connor Bedard. He's also set a new career high with 19 points in just 48 appearances this season. The 24-year-old has been an essential part of the Bruins' bottom six, where he's added 69 shots on goal, 58 hits, 26 blocked shots, 36 PIM and a plus-20 rating.... See More ... See Less -
