He also entered Saturday averaging a career-low 8:44 of ice time per game, a minute less than what he saw while with the Avalanche last year.

Considering Bourque is averaging 7:19 of ice time over that stretch, it shouldn't come as a shock he hasn't been able to register a point. Additionally, the winger has put just nine shots on goal in those 20 contests, further decreasing his chances of scoring. The Quebec native has dished out 43 hits during his offensive slump, which is about the only fantasy value he can provide.

After spending the bulk of the 2016-17 campaign in the minors, Bourque logged 58 games for the Avalanche this season. The 27-year-old tallied five goals, six assists and 44 shots, while averaging 10:54 of ice time. While the winger probably won't be filling a top-six role any time soon, if he can earn additional minutes, he could offer decent depth value in deeper formats -- especially in terms of hits and blocks, which he accrued in spades last year (123 and 59, respectively).

The tally improved the veteran winger to five goals and seven points through 31 games for the campaign. While Bourque projects to remain in a bottom-six role, it's definitely worth noting that he's now marked the goal column in three of his past four outings. He's still off the fantasy grid in the majority of setups, though.
