Myers logged an assist, two hits, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Canadiens. Myers picked up his first point in three games since he returned from a lower-body injury. The defenseman has resumed his usual second-pairing role after a five-game absence, though he offers more defensively than on the scoresheet. He's up to a solid 24 points with 67 shots on net, 67 PIM, 89 hits, 118 blocked shots and a plus-14 rating through 65 appearances this season.... See More ... See Less

Canucks' Tyler Myers: Ready to rock
Myers (lower body) will return to the lineup Saturday versus the Capitals, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports. Myers will draw back in after a five-game absence. He'll be on the second pairing, while Noah Juulsen will exit the lineup to make room. Myers has 23 points over 62 appearances this season.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Tyler Myers: Not ready yet
Myers (lower body) won't play Wednesday versus the Avalanche, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports. Myers was reportedly deemed close to a return as of Tuesday, but his absence will reach a fifth game. His next chance to play is Saturday versus the Capitals. Once Myers rejoins the lineup, Noah Juulsen is likely to see a smaller role.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Tyler Myers: Nearing return to action
Myers (lower body) could be available against Colorado on Wednesday, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports. Coach Rick Tocchet wouldn't go so far as to confirm Myers will be in action Wednesday, but the blueliner seems to be trending in the right direction. Prior to his four-game absence, the Houston native was finding his offensive stride with four points in his last seven outings while averaging 17:35 of ice time.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Tyler Myers: Out week-to-week with LBI
Myers (lower body) was announced as week-to-week following Saturday's practice, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports. Myers was presumably injured Thursday versus the Kings -- he saw just 14:19 of ice time in that contest. The 34-year-old has been steady in a second-pairing role. Myers' absence likely means Noah Juulsen will stick in the top four and Mark Friedman should be expected to enter the lineup on the third pairing.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Tyler Myers: Garners assist
Myers posted an assist, four shots on goal, two blocked shots and two PIM in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Penguins. Myers has four points and 10 blocked shots over his last six outings. The defenseman set up a Nils Hoglander tally midway through the first period. Myers is up to 23 points, 65 shots on net, 63 PIM, 85 hits, 112 blocked shots and a plus-13 rating through 61 contests this season. He's steady enough in the non-scoring categories to be a solid depth defenseman in fantasy.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Tyler Myers: Provides helper in loss
Myers logged an assist and four shots on goal in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Kraken. Myers set up a J.T. Miller tally early in the first period. This was Myers' third point over the last four contests after picking up just one helper in a 14-game span from Jan. 11 to Feb. 15. The defenseman has 22 points -- his most in five years with the Canucks -- and he's added 109 blocked shots, 85 hits, 61 shots on net, 59 PIM and a plus-14 rating through 59 appearances. Myers should continue to see top-four usage, and his well-rounded numbers make him a viable depth option in fantasy.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Tyler Myers: Pots goal Saturday
Myers scored a goal and added two PIM in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Jets. Myers took a penalty in the first period, but the Canucks were able to kill it off. He made up for that mistake by picking off a pass and slotting home a backhanded shot for the game-tying goal at 14:19 of the second period. The defenseman has two points over seven games since the All-Star break, and he's now at four goals and 20 points through 56 outings overall. Myers has added 56 shots on net, 59 PIM, 84 hits and 103 blocked shots while playing in a bottom-four role.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Tyler Myers: Nets assist in win
Myers collected an assist during Tuesday's win over the Hurricanes. The assist helped snap an eight-game point drought for Myers. He is up to 19 points through 50 games this season, already surpassing the point totals he accumulated in the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons. Myers also has 53 PIM, 64 hits, 95 blocks, and a plus-14 rating on the campaign.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Tyler Myers: Nets third goal in win
Myers scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 5-2 victory over the Islanders. Myers extended Vancouver's lead to 4-1 in the second period, ripping a slap shot past Ilya Sorokin on the rush. The 33-year-old Myers has points in back-to-back games and three (a goal and two assists) in his last five contests. While Myers isn't expected to chip in much offensively, he's now up to 18 points (three goals, 15 assists) through 41 games this year, surpassing his total of 17 points in 78 games last season.... Canucks' Tyler Myers: Collects assist Tuesday
Myers recorded an assist, six blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Senators. Myers helped out on a Pius Suter tally in the first period. Beyond that, Myers did his job well defensively to help the Canucks to the win. The 33-year-old had just four helpers over 12 games in December, but he added 21 blocks. For the season, he's at 16 points, 67 blocks, 44 hits, 26 PIM and a plus-13 rating across 37 contests.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Tyler Myers: Two helpers in Chicago
Myers picked up two assists with a plus-3 rating in Sunday's 4-3 win over Chicago. Both points came in the second period as the Canucks surged out to a 4-2 lead. Myers hasn't scored a goal since late October, but the 33-year-old blueliner has been able to stay productive with nine helpers in the last 16 games to go along with 26 blocked shots, 19 hits and 12 PIM.... Canucks' Tyler Myers: Snags helper
Myers posted an assist, three shots on goal and five blocked shots in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Flames. Myers reached the 10-assist mark on Elias Pettersson's empty-net tally in the third period. Six of Myers' helpers this season have come over the last nine games as he continues to provide steady offense. He was paired with newcomer Nikita Zadorov on Saturday -- that duo could serve as a physical force on the blue line. Myers has 12 points to go with 45 blocked shots, 38 hits, 26 shots on net, 24 PIM and a plus-11 rating through 25 outings this season.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Tyler Myers: Puts up helper in win
Myers notched an assist, two hits, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Ducks. Myers has produced six helpers over his last nine contests. He's played fairly well this season, though not to the level of his fellow Canucks blueliners Quinn Hughes and Filip Hronek. Myers has 11 points, 22 shots on net, 37 hits, 38 blocked shots, 22 PIM and a plus-11 rating through 23 appearances while mainly operating in a bottom-four role.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Tyler Myers: Gathers assist Friday
Myers produced an assist, three hits and four PIM in Friday's 5-1 win over the Kraken. Myers has racked up five helpers over his last seven games. After initially starting the season in a reduced role, Myers has exceeded 20 minutes of ice time in five of his last 10 games, covering the absence of Carson Soucy (lower body), who is on long-term injured reserve. Through 21 outings, Myers has 10 points, 38 blocked shots, 31 hits, 21 shots on net, 18 PIM and a plus-11 rating.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Tyler Myers: Generates pair of helpers
Myers recorded two assists, two shots on goal, two blocked shots and four hits in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Kraken. Myers has found a groove with four helpers over his last four outings. He set up goals by J.T. Miller and Nils Hoglander in Saturday's narrow loss. For the season, Myers has nine points, 21 shots on net, 27 hits, 32 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating over 18 appearances. While his ice time is down more than two minutes compared to 2022-23, he's done much better in a smaller role.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Tyler Myers: Collects assist in win
Myers picked up an assist during Sunday's 5-2 win versus Montreal. The assist ended a five-game point drought for Myers. He added one hit, one blocked, two PIM, five shots on, and a plus-2 rating in the contest. Myers' average ice time has dropped from 20:54 to 18:04 this year, but it appears to be helping his overall performance. He has six points in 15 games, along with a plus-10 rating.... See More ... Canucks' Tyler Myers: Points in three straight games
Myers notched an assist, four hits and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Predators. Myers extended his point streak to three games with the secondary helper on Elias Pettersson's empty-net tally in the third period. Myers has a goal and two assists in that span. The 33-year-old has seen a reduced role this year, but it appears less is more so far -- he's up to five points, 10 shots on net, 11 hits, 12 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating through nine contests. The big defenseman had just 17 points with a minus-16 rating in 78 appearances last season, so while a slowdown is likely, he could find his way past the 20-point mark in 2023-24.... See More ... Canucks' Tyler Myers: Chips in with assist
Myers notched an assist and three hits in Friday's 5-0 win over the Blues. Myers set up Phil Di Giuseppe's second-period marker. Playing in a third-pairing role means Myers will have fewer chances to contribute on offense. The veteran blueliner has a goal, two assists, six shots on net, eight PIM, five hits, nine blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over seven contests. With a drop in physicality, Myers has little appeal in most fantasy formats.... See More ... See Less -
Canucks' Tyler Myers: Nets first goal of season
Myers found the back of the net during Thursday's loss to Tampa Bay. This is a more productive start for Myers, scoring a goal in his fourth game of the campaign. Last season, it took him 39 contests before he lit the lamp, and it was his only tally of the year. In 2023-24, Myers has one goal, one assist, eight blocks and a plus-4 rating.... See More ...
